More about Super Racer ➤ http://www.super-racer.me/

The dream of becoming a real race driver: Sitting behind the wheel of a race car, fighting for positions, wins and championships and feeling the adrenaline. Man versus man, car versus car. But because of the high costs and hurdles in motorsports, it remains a dream for most racing fans and simracers.

But now, your dream of becoming a real racing driver can become a reality! We are looking for one SUPER RACER, who will compete the whole 2020 season in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Central Europe in a Porsche GT4 by Team Lechner Racing. Compete in the five time attack competitions, qualify in the top 30 for the live streamed multiplayer races, and with a good performance, either qualify for the bootcamp directly, where your simracing skills, fitness and mental strength will be tested (Multiplayer Standings P1-P3), or receive a 2nd chance in the Joker Challenge at the Essen Motor Show (Multiplayer Standings P4-P9). You need to be 18 years of age on 01.02.2020 and be in possession of a legal driving license. You do NOT need to have a racing license. There is one drop score.

In addition, there will be a separate competition, only for female simracers, called SUPER RACER KART. We are looking for 5 drivers in the German Team Championship (GTC) for Schnitzelalm Racing. Take part in the Hockenheim time attack, and register here additionally, if you are a female racer and want to make the step into real racing! Same rules: P1-P3 go directly into the bootcamp, P4-P9 into the Joker Challenge. You need to be 16 years of age on 01.02.2020 and be in possession of a legal driving license. You do NOT need to have a racing license.

This year, no one needs to have a racing license ahead! The car is free to drive in the competition, you need to own the track.

On the qualifying for second round, it's possible to run very wide in the last corner, like 2 car length from the kerb. For instance, Ray Tozzi is doing that in the leaderboard. What is the stance on this, is it legal in leaderboard, and in future qual/race?

    Reviewed it.

During the leaderboard stage, this line will be allowed.
During the race event, it will not be allowed.
For future Salzburgring Events, I have reported it to Sector3 so it can be fixed.

    R. Fredriksson vs. Vromant, Race 2, Lap 3, Final corner
Vromant goes for the move up the inside of the final corner on R. Fredriksson. Fredriksson leaves enough room, while Vromant cannot hold the line, goes out wide and makes contact with Fredriksson. It is not huge contact, but enough to spin Fredriksson into the gravel.
    Alexandre Vromant - 10 points - 1 strike

    Race 1

Vromant vs. Pinczes, Lap 2, Fahrerlager
Very slight touch between Pinczes and Vromant, Pinczes takes the position.
    Adam Pinczes - 5 points

Alves vs. Vega, Lap 10, T1
Alves passes Vega in the chicane. Alves is a bit loose on the exit and is towards the middle of the road, while Vega goes onto the kerb. Vega commits on the outside and re-enters the track, while Alves closes the door very slightly.
This is a difficult scene and both drivers could have avoided it. Alves should have left more room, since he had a bad exit, while Vega could have easily backed out. Since Vega stays exactly on his line, it has to be judged as a ...
    Racing incident

    Race 2

Vromant vs. R Fredriksson, 21:00 to go.
Fredriksson gives Vromant a tap in Fahrerlagerkurve. They go side by side. Vromant brakes late into the left hander, runs a bit wide, Fredriksson tries to go for the left side, makes contact with Vromant, Vromant gets a wiggle and pushed back into Fredriksson. Fredriksson goes off the road, and re-enters into Vromant, who is sent off.
    Robin Fredriksson - 10 points, 1 strike

Barna vs. Rebernak, Lap 10, T12
Barna slightly hits the grass in the Fahrerlagerkurve, Rebernak goes into the back of him. Half penalty since Barna hit the grass mid turn.
Kevin Siggy Rebernak - 5 points

Vromant vs. Dr. Hahnenkamm, Last Lap, Turn 1
Dr. Hahnenkamm goes into the side of Vromant coming up to the chicane, he doesn’t leave enough room since the track is getting tighter on the left side. Both go off in the chicane.
Dr. Anton Hahnenkamm - 10 points, 1 strike

    Strikes:
    Alexandre Vromant - 1
    Robin Fredriksson - 1

    Race 1

Rebernak vs. Heinemann / Sicilia vs. Heinemann, Lap 1 Turn 1-2
Heinemann brakes too late for the first corner and hits Rebernak, and gains several positions with this. He brakes directly afterwards in a safe place. Fairplay to him for waiting, but as there was still a report, we cannot reduce the penalty because of it. In turn 2, Heinemann and Sicilia make contact and Sicilia spins, but it was caused by Sicilia coming across Heinemann’s nose.
Tim Heinemann - 10 points - 1 strike (first corner)
    Racing incident (turn 2)

Leitner vs. Löhner, Lap 1 Schumi S
Löhner doesn’t leave Leitner enough space and squeezes Leitner on the entrance of Schumacher S onto the kerb, who has to back out. Both drivers can continue. The next offense of Löhner of this sort will result in a full penalty.
    Moritz Löhner - 5 points

Leitner vs. Löhner, Lap 5 Chicane
Leitner and Löhner go side by side into the chicane. Leitner leaves Löhner very little space on the first apex, and then gets loose over the second kerb. He tries to catch his car, and Löhner brakes but cannot avoid him, and Leitner goes off as a result. Unfortunate for Leitner, but not Löhner’s fault.
    Racing incident

Rebernak vs. Heinemann, Lap 10 Last Corner
Heinemann brakes later than Rebernak, taps him wide and takes the position. Push to pass.
    Tim Heinemann - 10 points - 1 strike

    Race 2

Löhner vs. Heinemann (Leitner vs. Löhner), Lap 1 Last Corner
Heinemann taps Löhner into a spin. Löhner is stuck in the middle of the road. Most cars avoid him but Leitner can’t and gets damage as a result. Löhner actually presses ESC, but it was too late to safe Leitner. Nothing Löhner could have done in this situation.
    Tim Heinemann - 10 points - 1 strike
    No action against Löhner
Heinemann needs to be more careful behind other cars. He seems to be able to brake extremely late, but he has to consider that other cars sometimes brake earlier than him. 3 incidents all caused under braking. 4th strike = raceban.

    Strikes:
    Tim Heinemann - 3
    Alexandre Vromant - 1
    Robin Fredriksson - 1
    Dr. Anton Hahnenkamm - 1

Note from the stewards: The races were very chaotic, and it surprises that there were only 3 reports. We are here for you - but only if you send a report.

    RACE 1:

Vega vs. Hahnenkamm, Lap 1 Turn 1
Dr. Hahnenkamm brakes too late for the first corner and hits Courtois which causes a big pile up involving Vega and Dorsch. Double penalty for first corner.
    Dr. Anton Hahnenkamm - 20 points - 2 strikes

Vega vs. Barrier, Lap 1 Turn 16
Barrier brakes too early for the final corner and changes line under braking, taking out Vega as a result.
    Valentin Barrier - 10 points, 1 strike

Vega vs. Jäger, Lap 5 Turn 1
Jäger passes Heinonen into turn 1, and brakes late, and just clips Vega into a spin.
    Sören Jäger - 10 points, 1 strike

    RACE 2:

    Race direction vs. Race results
Due to a bug, Pointeau, Courtois and Heinonen receive a 90 second penalty.
90 seconds subtracted from race time for all 3 drivers

    Strikes:
    Tim Heinemann - 3
    Dr. Anton Hahnenkamm - 3
    Alexandre Vromant - 1
    Robin Fredriksson - 1

Iglesias vs. Pinczes, Race 1, Lap 3, 3 corners before the end
Pinczes is behind Iglesias and hits Iglesias. Iglesias is quite slow at this point, slower than usual, but it’s still Pinczes’ responsibility to slow down and not hit Iglesias, and it’s the 2nd incident from Pinczes this season in this fashion.
    Adam Pinczes - 10 points - 1 strike

Löhner vs. Vromant, Race 1, Lap 5, Turn 2
Vromant goes for a late move on Löhner into turn 2. Löhner moves a bit under braking, to some extent that is necessary though, with the way the corner goes, but he moves sooner than other cars. Still an overly aggressive move from Vromant.
    Alexandre Vromant - 5 points

    Strikes:
    Tim Heinemann - 3
    Dr. Anton Hahnenkamm - 3
    Alexandre Vromant - 1
