If we already owned Indy, do we still have access to this content (except for the oval)?

No, you have to purchase the tracks seperately.

As I understand it, yes but if there is a MP room or ranked server using the 2021 road course version and you have the original version then you won´t be able to join that server and the same goes for leaderboards. Vice versa the same applies so it is a bit like with WTCR or ADAC season cars.

Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things as this was never a popular multiplayer track anyway and you get the oval layout as a novelty, but if they are going to go down that road with Spa, Zandvoort and other existing tracks which only get minor layout revisions then that will be disappointing/annoying.

With every new graffiti on the NOS, there will be an immediate paid update in the future.
That's called being on the pulse of time !! Lets be thankful for that... :tonguewink:

Yes, that would be the iRacing or Ignition business model - at the other extreme, Reiza let you drive on DLC tracks you don´t even own and they bundle the historic versions too but their base DLC price is almost double (except or the Ring, which works out cheaper) and you have to buy the game too so nothing is charity.

Is oval supported and is Grandprix 2012 the same layout like Historic 2022?

A few posts above andi said the oval is not supported
Regarding the layout the idea probably is for them to be the same but the pavement in the turn 8/9 area is different today than it was 10 years ago meaning those two corners are different between gp12 and historic22. They used to be tighter almost feeling like two hairpins while now its more of a slowish s-curve. And if you care about minor details like where the pit exit joins the track then thats another difference (gp12 joins before turn 1, historic22 joins between 1 and 2)

I just bought the track, but I don't have the time to get the wheel stand out and strap the chair to it, so I am going to wait until later tonight to try it back-to-back with the 2012 versions. One thing I can say for certain, Sector 3, you're going to have to rethink the track selection screen. The current arrangement, although straight forward; is starting to become ridiculous.

Wow, didn't expect it to come out so soon. We've only just gotten Assen. Nice surprise.
