My results, which I'm not happy with when looking at the others with the same CPU. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
    Edit: Likely slow RAM.

    Yes, benchmark purposes only.

Saturated CPU has a negative effect on FFB as well, not only FPS. Feels like going from 400Hz to 30Hz.

Note: My PC is very GPU bound atm, the cpu only got to about 25%. I will do another run when I got my rx 6700xt, should be quite a lot faster

Some benchmarks with the latest gen (Intel 13th gen and Ryzen 7000) would be interesting if anybody has built a new config in these dark times.:)

13 is just a refresh of the 12th gen but it does indeed seem to have very good benchmarks so far. If the table was updated with recent stats then we would see that even the i5 12th gen is outperforming all previous benchmarks.

I'm not using PBO or CO.

Would really love to see how the 5800X3D performs here. I'm considering upgrading to it for RR VR.

I use RR VR with a 3600 and 2070 Super and hp reverb g2. RR looks really good and has decent performance.

opencomposite does not work with Raceroom. Steamvr works. Put -vr in steam as start option for raceroom (right click on raceroom -> properties)
If it starts with all grey background, reset your center in steamvr. There is a vr thread, the first post is a good starting point.

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but something bothers me about the 7950X3D and the 7900X3D:
If I understand it correctly, in contrary to Intel, AMD does not use any underlying scheduling mechanism and they simply rely on Windows to detect gaming processes and disable the unnecessary cores without the extra cache. BUT what happens, if I start a game and also start recording with OBS and CPU encoding at the same time for example? The non-3DV-cache cores have to be woken up then, and the Windows scheduler flies blindly, nothing will prevent it spreading the game's load on all cores in this case. So by trying to utilize the cores which would be just sleeping anyway, theoretically, I will also make my game running significantly worse. So what's the point?
It's almost like you have to consider them extremely costly 8 and 6 core processors with two different 'modes' and configure them manually for gaming and content creation.

Are we still supposed to use that -vr switch now that steam has the option to launch with SteamVR??

Looks like this ancient benchmark cannot really utilize the 3D-V Cache, because I'm getting roughly the same score as you with vanilla settings (9311), but in VR, it is an obvious improvement from my 3700X, now I don't even have stuttering at the start, which was a problem before.

Yes same for me, almost the same results as with the 3600(nonX) but in VR around 15 to 20% more FPS on the same track.

I know, this is not a competition, but I took it that way anyway.
    Here is the result:

    benchmark.jpg

    • CPU: Intel i7 13700KF
    • CPU OC: E cores disabled, 5.6Ghz on all cores
    • Memory: 32GB DDR5 4800 (standard JEDEC config, XMP profile not working with E cores disabled)
    • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080
    • OS: Windows 10 LTSC
The results are varying a lot on how cpu core parking is working /or not ;) and process affinity lottery. Sometimes it runs on 2 cores sometimes on 3/4. Btw this was with 2 cores at full load and the rest almost idle.

And if somebody knows what is the relation between disabling E cores and pc not booting with XMP profile...
What I know for sure is that I have to disable the E cores, otherwise I cannot disable core parking, and I get very poor performance in VR.
