Question is WHEN the servers will be back up again. We have a quite big event scheduled for this evening here in Sweden. Gonna be lots of disappointed people if not ready by then I'm afraid, not only in Sweden...
If that's not the implementation of a big update, that'll be pretty frustrating... That many hours just for a maintenance?
Server maintenance happens from time to time without any major updates, but rarely, and seldom for this long...
I don´t remember the Honda TC (not WTCR) being released, just the Opel, Lada and Hyundai. Is it my bad or a new car? So much cannibalisation of the same cars in different classes it´s easy to get confused.
Silence is never good. Would be nice to know what the future looks like for this platform regardless if Sector3 wants to wind down the development or not. The problems with the servers have been there for quite a while without being adressed at all and they are in fact still there after the long maintenance break yesterday with long loading times, profile page is missing data etc. It all creates a feeling of neglect which is not good at all. The platform is still great, especially online, but there is a risk of people moving out to when they see all the updates coming from the other developers.
That's what annoys me too. Devs seem to move to Discord en masse and now these forums are nothing more than "ah, that thing...".
On Discord, there's more info slipping through the closed doors than here on the forums. It's definitely less empty and less silent.
Maybe not that much on DC either, but they actually do put out some stuff there from time to time, and yesterday finally made a few statements during the downtime at least. Who is this forum for again?
