There's space for both discord and the forum. Both have their uses. Discord is better for quick questions and sorting out people's small issues. Anything complex I always ask them to post on the forum, much easier to organise and reference. I check both several times a day.
That's what I was hoping for, but also from the developers. Reading this thread, I learned, the forum is still useful and needed. KW-Studios, please listen to your folks and share some attention. Thank you.
I suppose that very much depends on what kw studios consider as a complex problem that needs to be addressed here in their official support forum? For example, take the Moza r5/Raceroom compatibility issue. https://forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/moza-r5.18591/ If it hadn't been for you ravey I would have no idea what the current situation is. So the premise that kw studios will also post here to keep us informed doesn't always hold true. Ultimately, though, it is kw studios call how they conduct support.
In these cases you can think of us betas as messengers or go betweens. As well as testing new things we point existing problems out to Devs and bring solutions. Obviously, from the user's point of view it would be nice to have all this information directly from the Devs via the forum but there are only so many hours in a day and they are a small and busy team. We will always try to help out whenever we can.
Agreed, brother, I understand your commitment and your help to the developers who presumably spend their precious time improving any aspect of their Sim. But when a thread gains traction, which is the case here, an official response can sometimes calm stormy waters

Most stuff re releases etc is on here. If you want daily information then you'll have to use discord. You can even just ignore everything else and just have the #announcements channel pushed straight to your phone of you want.
