I mainly play RaceRoom, and I have dabbled in iRacing on and off. During the ongoing big iRacing promotion, I purchased another one-year subscription for just around 85 CNY (equivalent to 12.5 USD). iRacing delivers excellent physics, great force feedback including LFE support, a fully structured race calendar, and a strict damage model. Races at entry levels last roughly 12 minutes with lobbies capped at around 12 drivers. As long as the annual subscription is maintained, players can compete in low-tier series indefinitely. However, renewal will not include any discount next year and the subscription price will increase. Without extra purchases, you will never be able to drive Hypercars at Spa except during limited free trials scheduled on maintenance days. Due to this attractive iRacing promotion, RaceRoom has lost a significant number of players. RaceRoom is such a great title, so what can be done to sustain its competitiveness going forward? I would like to share my suggestions: I often recommend RaceRoom to my friends, yet roughly half of them report launch failures, black screens and various other technical issues. These problems need urgent attention. RaceRoom lacks a structured driver progression system; a revamped driver rating framework should be implemented. Pricing adjustments are crucial – track DLC prices should be reduced, while vehicle prices can remain unchanged. Current cars feel overly stable, and vehicle damage occurs too infrequently. Minor tuning to these aspects would be beneficial. Allow players to repurchase older legacy content, with voucher rebates offered to existing owners. Prioritize development of night racing and dynamic wet weather conditions. When entering multi-class races, display the number of registered participants for each class during vehicle selection.
