In the captioned patch, I find that Ferrari 296 GT3 DTM 2024 steering angle is changed from 540deg (Ver.0.9.7.28 and before) to 800deg.

Is it a bug or made by intention? I have set steering lock to 20deg before. Should I increase the steering lock proportionally, to 30deg?

Press the "circle arrow" in the corner to reset angles to default ones, what's the steering lock default value now? I'm sure it wasn't intentional, this steering looks way too slow. Max steering lock in this car is 24 degrees now, so you won't be able to reach your previous steering ratio value. I would just decrease Steering angle back to 540.

Probably as I use gamepad (not steering wheel), the Steering Angle is a fixed value in the game. After I pressed the "circle arrow" button, the Steering Angle is still 800.

I tried to change Steering Lock to max (24), but the feeling is still not as same as before. The car seems understeer. Now, I keep Steering Lock to 20, and I steer earlier for corner entry instead. Perhaps, the understeer feeling is due to other factors (e.g. change of tire grip of GT3) in this patch.

    Steering Angle of GT3 DTM 2024 (Ver.0.9.7.31)

Audi: 612 degrees (I do not know the value before the patch)
BMW: 535 degrees (540 for Ver.0.9.7.28 and before)
Ferrari: 800 degrees (540 for Ver.0.9.7.28 and before)
Lambo: 612 degrees (I do not know the value before the patch)
McLaren: 480 degrees (I do not know the value before the patch)
Mercedes: 640 degrees (I do not know the value before the patch)
Porsche: 800 degrees (I do not know the value before the patch)

    * I use gamepad, and the Steering Angle is a fixed value in the game

Can confirm the audi and mercedes values and am pretty sure they were both simply 540 before the update. Cant really tell yet how its affected driving tho since ive only been at macau where i use non default lock and angle anyways

Seems that KW has changed the standard 540 maximum wheel rotation setting to something more accurate to the real thing.
See this list for reference: https://coachdaveacademy.com/tutorials/correct-steering-locks-and-ratios-in-acc/
One issue I see is that the wheel lock range is not wide enough, at least not at the top end.
An 800/24 combination results in a steering ratio of 17 (16.7 to be more exact), which is rather high and can't be lowered since 24 is the maximum wheel lock allowed.
Steering ratio of the Ferrari 296 in ACC is 14, which corresponds with a wheel lock of 28.5 and thus results in significantly more direct steering.
The old RR standard 540/16 also leads to a 17 steering ratio, but at least the wheel lock can be increased to 20 (= 13.5 steering ratio).

Then you can ignore Steering angle value, it doesn't affect steering on a gamepad since you reach 100% steering by pushing the stick to the edge. Any change in driving feeling should be either a placebo or something else.

Were the default steering locks changed too? I'm on a keyboard right now, can't check them.

Without that, changing steering angle to "more authentic" will do more harm than good because steering ratio will be far from authentic and the car won't feel as it should.

Just had a look at the 2024 GT3 DTM cars as they're some of the most recent models (steering angle/lock/(maximum lock):
    - Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II DTM: 612/18 (20)
    - BMW M4 GT3 DTM: 535/16 (20)
    - Ferrari 296 GT3 DTM: 800/24 (24)
    - Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo II DTM: 612/18 (20)
    - McLaren 720S GT3 Evo DTM: 480/14 (20)
    - Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020 DTM: 640/18 (20)
    - Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) DTM: 800/23 (23)

Here are the corresponding settings in ACC I looked up a few months ago:
    - Audi: 720/24
    - BMW: 516/17
    - Ferrari: 800/28.5
    - Lamborghini: 620/26
    - McLaren: 480/18.5
    - Mercedes: 640/24.5
    - Porsche: 800/26.5

NB: ACC wheel rotation/steering angle figures taken from Coach Dave Academy website, steering/wheel lock calculated from steering ratio settings in the car setup menus.
Steering ratios from the default "aggressive" setups, but these are mostly the same as in the default "safe" modes.
