Hi guys, wondering if there are any Fanatec DD+ owners here. Mine is 2 weeks old and has an issue which seems unique to R3E. After an evening messing with single player I suddenly had a grinding type noise/effect on my wheel. If I paused the game it went away, back into game it came back. Reboot the wheel and all is well. Anyway, long story short I found somewhere (can't find it now) where someone commented on a youtube post about '17 times'?? I pondered and realised they were talking about starting a race 17 times, so I did some testing and lo and behold if I start a single player race and then immediately stop and restart another 16 times the grinding appears. I tried the same in LMU and it didn't happen. My question is if there is anyone that has a DD+ could try this? Single player, click drive and as soon as you are on the track pause and restart. I tested it 3 times and each time I started a race then restarted another 16 times. Originally of course I had done 17 races with various tracks and car but quick restarts has the same effect. Fanatec will RMA/replace my base but I wanted to reach out here on the off chance someone had the same base.
