I was driving a GT2 car and an annoying problem has surfaced after this patch.

When I spin, the car stalls. But not only does it stall after the initial spin, but when I intentionally spin the car around to face the proper direction

    it stalls again.

    When I engage a gear

it stalls again and switches back to neutral

    OVER AND OVER AND OVER

I hope this wasn't added in the patch for realism - nothing fun or realistic about that at all.

Sounds like clutch. Either use yours or turn auto clutch on. A real car will stall in gear with not enough revs.

    Get real mode?
Did you check the car setup? Cause I think the GT2 cars have some TC enabled by default, so lower the value for TC step 1 to 0 and see if that helps.

Do you have it in neutral when you're starts the car?
    Damage gear box?

Thanks guys. Yes, it turned out to be the auto clutch was off. Wow was it frustrating since I don't have a clutch pedal.
    (DFGT)

Now i can't get the position bar to turn on.
I turned it off to try and make a video, but now it won't turn back on.
position bar setting is "on" in initial settings.
Tried pressing the key that turns position bar on/off.
    Tried re-mapping the key

Beware that there is actually two places for position bar settings:

    - in the "HUD settings" sub-menu, inside the option menu.
    - in the "main race screen" (the one you have when you're just ready to get on track, with "Drive" "Car Setup", etc, where there is on the lower right a position bar "slider" : Off/Names Only/Positions and Names"

I think both have to be "turned on" for the position bar to be displayed (but don't quote me on this)
