I did, a long time ago. https://forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/car-wishlist.10048/page-28#post-213950
Was having a little conversation with some 'elder' members of the AusNZ Simracing group the other week in regards to content, I just chucked out the thought of Cam-Am's being brought into Raceroom. It was created with some "hell yes!" And "just take my money" comments.... So KW Studio's how bout it?
Dear mom KW, one day we might have a beautiful Honda NSX GT2 or GT3. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I recently downloaded RaceRoom and was really impressed by this simulator. Unfortunately, I noticed that one of my favorite cars is missing, and I was wondering if it might ever be added in the future. I'm not really sure how things work around here yet — are there regular updates? How often are new cars added? If someone could kindly explain how things usually go, I’d really appreciate it.
Yes, there are regular updates and a few tracks and 5-10 cars are added each year. But I won't hold my breath for NSX. Rumors are we could have got it a few years ago, but obviously something went wrong. So far the biggest chances to see any new GT3 car is if it appears in DTM. That would probably be Mustang, Aston Martin and BMW M4 Evo.
A car wishlist for a sim that is absolutely perfect because of its variety of cars is somehow strange, however... Hi RaceRoom team and fellow racers, I’d like to suggest a GT3 car pack update featuring two amazing and currently relevant race cars: Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Ford Mustang GT3 Both have become major additions to the global GT3 scene, and they’ve also played a big role in the 2024 Nürburgring 24 Hours, which many of us RaceRoom fans love. Specifically: The Walkenhorst Motorsport team runs the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 The HRT team (Haupt Racing Team) runs the Ford Mustang GT3 Other teams like PROsport Racing also campaign these cars in endurance and GT Masters series I think it would be awesome to see these two cars added to RaceRoom along with some authentic liveries from these teams. These liveries really bring the real motorsport feeling into the sim, especially for Nürburgring fans. There hasn’t been a new GT3 car in a while, and many of us would love to see these modern additions join the grid. Personally, I’ve been waiting a long time for them and would gladly purchase them as soon as they’re released. Thanks for considering, and keep up the great work with RaceRoom!
In the grid talk earlier this year (i think it was #5 where theiy talked about dtm esports) it was mentioned that they are in talkes about the license for both cars (due to dtm). no news since then so we will see. DTM pack is usually released at the end of the year.
I think there were some Instagram comments asking for the Mustang and they replied "If you buy the license for us". This was only some weeks ago, so I'm afraid the Mustang could be one of those cars where they have to say no (as mentioned in GridTalk #6) because of the costs. The Aston could be an even larger hurdle to overcome, but let's wait and see.
1998 Nissan Primera Super Touring 1998 Peugeot 406 Super Touring ... along with some more 1998 STW liveries for the Audi A4, Honda Accord, BMW 320i, Opel Vectra and Alfa Romeo 156.
I found the ultimate RaceRoom car! The car: Volkswagen up! GTI Cup The series: ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup I guess this one could deliver even closer racing than the MX-5. But the most important thing for RaceRoom: it can drive on two wheels.
