    Hello,

While R3E need a lot of other, more important features, a chat app would be nice to have for mp races. So it is possible to have an overlay chat app? Obviously is a question for those who know if can be done!

    Thank you!

Hi, did anyone try to use this roccat buttonbox thing as autochat module, sending keyboard shortcodes to R3E?

I miss the chat app in MP too. But I think more importantly, they should introduce a system were 3rd party developers can add in-game apps.

This can be done in Assetto Corsa using python....and also can be done in rFactor 2 using C++.... I would love to see such functionality in R3E

Then we can add as many stuff as we can imagine :)

lua allows the devs control but also takes a little effort for them.

+1 for Lua. However a native c++ DLL would be great too and the people could add a Lua Frontend using that.

However the last time s3s mentioned DRM issues prevent native in procesd plugins.

Flippin hope not. I hate python as much as the next grown up, but I was kinda relying on it for AC crew chief :(
