That's the most RaceRoom thing I've read all day, that you would say the lap time doesn't matter in a beat the pro event. Well, then it is not a beat the pro event at all.

I live in the States and won't be jetting off to Lausitzring or any of these venues so not interested in winning tickets.. But the event says that any driver beating the lap time wins a ticket, and the top five are upgraded to paddock pass tickets. Is this correct? But if there's no lap time to beat, then there can be no winners, or at least make winners impossible to determine, aside from the top five. Is it true that apart from the failure to pay out VRP for premium events, that KWS is also not giving out the tickets? It's hard to see how they would determine the winners.

No, it's just the top 5 that receive tickets. But yeah, it doesn't really make sense to compete for the tickets if you aren't living near the track. At least you're allowed to give the tickets to someone else who can attend the races.

Their failure to address it is infuriating if I'm honest. That this thread has been discussing it for over a year with no comments from the devs, in their own forum, is a sad state of affairs.

And to rub it in, they gave us two Norisring events, and three in two rounds. I suspect they are sitting behind a curtain having a laugh. Norisring is an abomination of a racing track, in my view, in case you've come along and wondered what's so bad about Norisring. That's is a not a dig at RaceRoom, they have faithfully recreated this silly circuit, I'm sure.

Failure to pay out the premium event rewards for thirteen months now is the bigger problem, however.

This chat was on discord today:
Christian Grotte: 'Day 3 of asking for two years' worth of prizes to be paid out before end of summer sale, and maybe before announcing shiny new championship with more prizes and promoting a car/track pack to go with it?'
Luca Kita: 'Yes they will. I am on it. Hope to be done by next week! Its going far back'
When being asked about whether that also includes ranked championship VRPs, he replied that he meant those mainly. So all in all, I'd just guess it takes three weeks for the competition VRPs, but that's really just a guess. :D

Thanks Racer, that would be good, if they pay out Premium leaderboard events. I'll believe it when I see it, but it's promising. And if they do, let's hope they keep up with it once things have been put right.

If it remains the task of Luca, he will have fresh memories of how annoying it is to process so many competitions and surely won't be interested in letting stuff accumulate that much again. :D

Last time they were paid, it was also after going through nearly 2 years worth of them, so i would not rely on that...
