when i want to enter the race (GTR3), i can choose my (old GTR3)-car, but for the track, there ist the button: purchase Track - i already purchased the track in 2020. why is this not recognised?
If you purchased it back then you have the old version, the ranked servers use the new up to date version that came out a couple months ago
I´m with the same problem. But I think that this isn´t correct. If I already bought the track once, why do I have to buy it again? I might even accept paying a big discount because of the update, but buying the track again when I already have it isn't right.
this is a new track and licence , the old licence ran out and a new one had to be negotiated and the track updated and rebuilt because of this as far as i understand the old track can no longer be promoted or used in any official servers .. and it has been removed from the store i can understand this can be frustrating but it is the world we live in Andi
what a weak support.... and argument "but it is the world we live in" its kw studios decision and its a bullshit policy to let the community repurchase all the tracks whenever there is an update...
Most track updates are completely free, the couple cases when they werent they were complete rebuilds which are kinda hard to finance if youre not getting anything for it in return. Even then spa was at a 50% discount when the new one was released as a compromise. Can still understand if youre not a fan of the decision but no need to frame it as the norm when its clearly not
to me the only thing that was weird is how that discount was applied it was short time discount available to everyone even people that didn't bought previous version so people that owned it can feel a bit weird about it how it should work is probably lifetime 50% off for people that have old version on their account so even if they weren't around while it was re-released they wouldn't miss their deserved discount
