I don't really know where I should post this so I will ask here since we have these dynamic debries now u can hear the sound it produce much more often (previously only after huge error that resulted in off-track and now it's normal to have it from driving on normal racing line) the problem I have with it is that I feel like it's too loud compared to other things the thing is it seems like u can't adjust it without losing the curbs sound since both these settings are under "road noise" option is it possible to change it separately via editing some files? OR is there a chance that both curbs and the debries will get separated sliders in the menu?
While there is alot to praise sound wise in R3E the debris sound def does stand out and not in a good way. Too loud and the sample quality is quite bad compared to everything else.
ill be honest sounds fine for me , i dont have an issue with it , headphones , 5:1 system or stereo Andi
in addition to bad debris sound, the suspension sound with some cars when going over rumble strips is broken. It sounds like UFO making beeping noises.
I wouldn't even say the sample is "bad", it's fine for the purpose it was used before and still is - mean if u completely lose control and just go off track on grass or gravel, could sound better sure but it happens rarely so who cares the problem is when that feature of track debries (which happens often) was added they just copy-pasted the same sound to it which is bad because when u are on tarmac that has barely any dirt on it just shouldn't make same noise with same volume as complete off track, makes no sense at all - but seems like it's just another example of "Raceroom laziness" that happens in some aspects at times
I just noticed something that disturbs me more than the debris sounds: The tire screetch when you touch in open wheelers. I think it's too loud, too high as well and many times, it appears some moments after the contact.
