I tried looking everywhere for a way to compare my laps to other drivers to see where I'm losing out (sector times aren't specific enough), but to no avail Is there a way for this to be done in R3E? Leaderboard challenges are the closest I got but from what I understand a lot of the laptimes on there are pre tyre physics update so it's kinda irrelevant Thanks !
But there are some guys really into hotlapping and I know some of the popular leaderboards (Nordschleife, Raceroom Raceway, GTR3 are very well filled with very fast times, even faster than real life ones (and the GTR3 class is BOPed slower than the GT3s which run the NLS/VLN/24h on the Nordschleife afaik) If you see an empty leaderboard, change that and be the fastest! There's one thing with regular leaderboards - setups aren't fixed. So unless you know what setup this driver uses, it also becomes a guess game. I think the best way to compare your skill to other people's is fixed setup competitions, but you only have a few of them per month.
The best way is competitions: there are a lot of opponents, different car types, fixed setups. You challenge a driver that is 1-1,5 sec faster - that´s a realistic goal and also trains your vision so you look ahead properly.
