Direct input effects used by R3E

    Of all these DI effects that are tunable into Simucube 2 Tuner software, which ones are actually used by R3E and when/for what? Thanks.

    it's pretty much just the sine wave effect for the whole FFB, more specifically, it uses the offset of the sine wave effect.

    The only other thing we use is the damping effect for stationary friction, so only at very low speed this is active.

    You can keep them all on in the driver without any issue, not really any point to tweaking them there over the in-game settings

    What about spring effect? I think it's used for soft-lock in "Manual" mode of adjusting your steering angle.

    We actually do this softlock ourselves with the same FFB signal as the steering forces, so no we never use the spring effect afaik
