    Hi guys,

can anyone here help out with a competitive Setup for the Opel Calibra? I am struggling to find Speed and as I have absolutely no clue about building Setups I am completely lost as I am pretty much the only one from my team still active in Raceroom. It really is a huge shame that you need to have almost the knowledge of an engineer to be fast in Simracing. I want to be competitive but I don't want to lose my head in building setups. I wanna be a racer not an engineer.

I too dont particularily enjoy working a lot on setups and dont have any for the calibra. But do you have a particular track in mind? If so what are your lap times with the default setup?

Ah sorry, should have specified that. Classic Hockenheim GP. Doing high 2:10s in Quali trim right now with only rear wing, TC and a bit of differential adjusted but I have seen people doing mid 2:08s so it is a bit frustrating.

Check your gear ratios are optimised for the track so you are hitting the rev limiter in an appropriate gear on the straights and not bogging down in corners. Put the BB to the rear too then compare your lap to leaderboard ones to see where you are losing most time and adjust your driving line accordingly. Those cars have a lot of toe in/out so perhaps reduce those too and rake once you have done all the rest.
