Some impatient players (including me) are already competing. This is the first time I'm playing a leaderboard and see the ranking changing in real time haha. Good news is that the level will be close to RR competitions. Sad news is that RR competitions level is damn high!
Short look on leaderboards and Monza track in this moment only Volvo and Citroen , few Hondas and one Lada in top 30 positions. How about balance of performance for Chevrolet and maybe Lada? or this will be very boring for watching...
People drive what they are familiar with, and people came to the impression that the Citroen was good based on using it the past few years. The other cars are all competitive with the Volvo and Citroen. In large part it comes down to driver skill. You dont see many people using the Lada because of past perceptions, so they choose to set their times with other cars. Personally, the Lada is my favorite And besides, these cars have only been released, what... 3 days? Bit tough to make a definitive statement that BoP is broken in 3 days
Read the competition rules, they talk about cars. For each championship leaderboard you can use any car. The car you choose for the first race will be the same for all championship races. We are invited to NOT choose a championship car and let the staff choose it so they will make all cars even. But you can choose your prefered car if you really want.
Hi, I have made this time, and in the classification I continue with my old time in position 65 of the 2nd division instead of the 107 of the 1st division.
Hi, I had the same issue, my local ghost was recorded with a better time but the leaderboard was still on the previous one.
Sometimes it needs a bit that the Leaderboard gets updated - so your Times aren't lost, it just needs a bit that you can see them. The Time from @SergioIg for example is now updated in the Leaderboard.
Gave it a shot past two days.. Chosen the Volvo because it is the newbie. Bit getting used to on the brakes but i feel past wtcc-series suffered the same. Currently in there with a 51.8, i can see myself driving 51lowish but wont make the 50s i feel.. Curious to see though how fast the first guys will go as this will influence the overal place of the divisions. A bit a pity not all tracks are ingame but some nice alternatives.. Is there anyone who wants to exchange setups for the Volvo? I'm pretty happy with mine but I am very interested how others do it
Only things i have done is lowered wing to 1-2 and brakebias towards the front 66-34.. All the rest stock.
Yeah I also lowered the wing to 1. The rest is personal preference imho. Right now I am in P24 in division 2 It's a shame it won't stay like this for too long
Stock setup with the Volvo, only down the wing to 1 too, Actually 14 in division 2. Hope the leaderboard stop moving, because it's hard to follow my own ghost ^^
я случайно перепрыгнул рубеж 2 дивизиона, и попал в первый. теперь надо как то скидывать хотя бы 1 секунду. I accidentally jumped the boundary of the 2nd division, and got into the first. Now it is necessary as something to throw off at least 1 second.
After short test and after short look on leaderboards definitely Chevrolet Cruze have around 30HP less than Honda. Like I told before. Problem is that in leagues with WTCC cars nobody will choose slow car. We need balance of performance for Chevrolet.
I think that's a bit exaggerated. Yes, it doesn't have the same topspeed as the Honda, but this is also Monza. A track that clearly benefits topspeed over handling. The car will most likely be strong on other tracks. And it isn't really slow either: We will closely evaluate the times though and react accordingly.
Just tried to beat my time and stay in the top 24 drivers of the second Division (I was 35 beofre the try). I did it ! Yes, i did it, but, i did it to much ! Jump into the First Division at the 123 position, So no multiplayer race for me :'(
