eSports WTCC - Important News and Updates

I just want to mention the topic of the final event, which has been quiet for a long time.

Recently, there has been some movement from RaceRoom and WTCC about it.
However, the original date at the end of this year cannot be held. So there will be a new date announced soon. What RaceRoom and WTCC wanted to make clear is that the final event will definitely happen, and that all the prizes that are being won this season (tickets for sessions at the final event) will count. A list of tickets will be made available when the results of Shanghai are made official.
The online championship will continue as planned and the champion will recieve the title of the eSports WTCC Online Champion 2017.

I am sorry for the lack of information.

 

Invitations sent for Suzuka. Penalties released for Shanghai. Results will be updated tomorrow, sry for delay.

 

If you want to race and you have recieved a 2nd round invitation, make sure to answer your mail until tomorrow 08:00 GMT

- Due to the track being ridiculously difficult, I will host a test race. 15 minutes quali, 2x 20 minutes.
It will be on Tuesday, November 7th.
Qualifying starts 17:00 GMT / 17:00 UK / 18:00 EU.
It is open for all drivers, and aimed especially for drivers that will participate in the races. It is not mandatory to show up, but if you want to survive on Sunday, it is recommended.
The server name will be eSports WTCC Testrace and the password will be unfall.

- In the Melco hairpin (the super slow hairpin at the end of sector 2), we will have a permanent yellow flag zone, in the test race and in the official races. That means you have to drive super careful and you are not allowed to make an overtake (exceptions: You are allowed to overtake cars that have crashed).

 

Leaderboard qualifying is now closed! Congratulations to the eSports WTCC King of Leaderboard, Nikodem Wisniewski, who performed the best over all tracks



Invitations for the final multiplayer race in Macau are sent as well.
