Can't speak for anyone else, but my problem with Macau is that it's not a race-track. It's a city-street that some sadistic bastard decided to surround with walls. So you end up with race-cars doing basically commuting because there's no way you can fit two cars on one piece of tarmac (and yes, there are exceptions, but still.) I have the same problem with Monaco in the F1 games, that always gets auto-resolved. It's just..... I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to race there.
Well, I'm not sure I can make all the races anyway, so I'm sticking with the wildcard. Besides, let's face it, it's not as if I'm going to be gunning for a top 5 anyway. Top 500 maybe, but.....
I suck at it. But still love the challenge of it. You are right that it's a hard place to race and or pass. Your race depends on others mistake pretty much. Myself I just like variety. I don't like racing the same track over and over.
