I remember other sim doing this, PC2 or AC maybe? Basically the number indicates how much it slip is require before TC cuts, instead of the sensibility. I even knowing this for those sims prefer the "Bigger number, earlier TC".
Some days ago, I wouldn't have understood, since yesterday, I'm going in neutral like 1 time per lap on Nogaro with the Opel Calibra V6 DTM x) It's really painful, going full throttle and noticing you're in neutral It's like pushing the pedals on your bike but the chain isn't on the gears anymore
This was probably already requested: HUD Radar to see close opponents. Updated Menu and HUD style to be like the "new" Pause/Settings menu. In "Single Event" Mode, weather/clouds setting should be remembered like all of the other race settings, currently it always return to Random. Like some people suggested just before me, a setting to prevent going to neutral while being over a certain speed.
Feature request: 1. Ability to save cockpit camera preset for the car after FOV and re-positioning. 2. I`m being prepared for the championship and thought that it would be extremely useful to have the ability to set/remove/rewrite my own startpoint in practice or some other mode. Alternative may be the ability to separate by sectors rolling start practice. We all often have trouble with a couple of corners or track sections while the other part of the track feels OK.
Option to save more than one custom graphics preset. Especially important for VR users, who have to find every bit of quality and performance and change a lot between leaderboard driving, offline racing and online racing, which all have a different load on CPU/GPU.
1. Ability to save cockpit camera preset for the car after FOV and re-positioning. OK.
Agree.
I myself have wished many times in my mind to have the opportunity to practice only one turn or sector, but I have always thought that in reality a person does not have that opportunity and have reconciled myself with the lack of that possibility. On the one hand, I want it, on the other, it wouldn't be entirely fair. In the end, we all drive under equal conditions. As for track limits, by the way - sometimes I get really angry and puzzled, but it's the same for everyone.
remove or decrease the size of the map tail(after my car's position) in map hud, it's kinda annoying to see it all the time mid screen especially if u put the map on top
I know this will not be at the top of the dev.’s list, but from ages ago, even before there were ranked races, I always wonder before entering a multi class online race, what car class or what liveries have been taken, so I can choose a certain class to compete or a livery that has not been taken. I would like some kind of pre-lobby view so we can see what is going on before entering a race.
Series-related driver rating as seen in Project Motor Racing could be something for RaceRoom. As I'm really bad at driving TCR, I barely join those races in mutiplier due to the fear of losing lots of points. If there was a seperate Rating for TCR, Formula, GT and Prototype racing, I'd race the TCRs more often and have some fun without having my rating completely destroyed.
I like the path R3E is taking. But it is still light years away behind iRacing. Here's what I would like to see: Ranked Championships, Sporting Code, Native Telemetry Logging, Protest/Reporting System, Better UI for the Ranked System, Web-UI for the Ranked Champs/Races/Series' Schedules, Series-Specific Store Bundles, etc
Ranked Championships used to be there and with the new Multiplayer System it should be a lot less complicated to make them return. There is a form for reporting other drivers. However, integrating this into the UI might be beneficial, even though I have no idea who could have enough time to look at all the reports. 'Better UI for the Ranked System' - What? Series-Specific Store Bundles - Yes. Car Packs do exist, but you should be able to add the tracks of a series with at least a little discount as well. Sporting Code - I'm not sure what you mean by that, a set of rules that everybody has to read and confirm as understood or something else? Might be worth going into detail there, it's not requested very often. Having the Ranked Multiplayer UI as a webpage would be a huge benefit, bein able to unregister from or register for races without having to start the game, seeing when the next race starts and how many people will participate, that would be great!
There were entry requirements (MP Rating and MP Reputation) in each Ranked Multiplayer Online Race, but it seems such requirements are gone now. I think the reason is partially due to auto-split of players in each Ranked Race. It is effective if there are sufficient players joining the race. However, this happens, usually, in Free Match only. If the entry requirements are really gone, I would suggest the following modifications in the list of joined players (shown after pressing "Join" button): Show MP Rating and MP Reputation of each player Allow us to setup Friends List and Watched List, and mark those players on the joined players list * Friends List is already existed
Server options to allow players to join and/or rejoin a server in any practice or warmup session, including those between races. We run a league where we set up 3 consecutive races, and every week we have at least one driver's game crash in one of the sessions. With the current server limitations, players can only join during the first practice session. So if anyone's game crashes after that, we need to restart the server to allow them back in.
Native Triple Screen Support so that AMD users don't need Eyefinity and Nvidia users don't need surround. Please
Improved track limits. It is way too conservative right now. Look at Donington. It is impossible to run a clean lap as IRL or like any other game out there (iRacing, ACC, AC..). It is not only ultra conservative, but also highly inconsistent. In iRacing, there is in the Rules tab of the race menu, the exhaustive information of all track limits. In R3E, the user is forced to guess via trial and error where all the track limits are. Edit: During this weekend's ranked weeklies at Donington, several users maxed out incident points because of these crazy track limits. It's very frustrating. IMO, at a very minimum, painted tarmac, the entire surface of them should be considered on-track. If not, a visual cue is necessary.
I requested this before, but the damage model needs some love. Even if it's just a higher multiplier or a lower threshold for damage, the current state is - especially in formula, for touring cars it's better - ridiculous: There was no damage to suspension, engine, transmission in the second crash. The front wing was gone, but even that didn't have a lot of influence (ok, on an oval this is not too much of a surprise) on driving, even the SealHUD damage display told me there was only a tiny bit of damage.
Not an in-game wish but rather for the beta Multiplayer ranking (https://game.raceroom.com/multiplayer-rating/). Now it is sorted in Rating. Is there a possibility to add Ranking (the Rating times %Reputation) and sort on that value. Maybe then drivers will start to look after their Reputation as well as their Rating instead of accumulating lots of penalties but finish higher in the race.
While speaking about that website, itd also be cool to have lists for the all time records, so highest rating, highest rep (asking for a friend ) and possibly highest rank as well
