I would like the new multiplayer UI to be applied to the whole game. I respect not having a livery editor for the cars, but it would be nice to be able to edit the helmet. Additionally, it would be nice to have your own name on the cars instead of the real life driver's. The ability to prepare and save multiple single-player championships.
Feature request: Driver's Time Attack entries. On driver's profile, we can see the number of time trial entries, but we can't see the details. Since we have a time attack ranking and stuff, we should be able to visualize our entries so we can try to improve them. And even without that, it would be a very nice and needed feature for time attack nerds like me. Please guys!
If there can be strong side winds in sudden gusts from time to time... On Zandvoort the wind can carry sand from the dunes onto the track, for instance... for more immersion
Hello, I don't know if this will only be possible after the engine swap, but for some cars, being able to adjust the mirrors would be nice.
Update the Rules. They're from 2014 /2015 The reason is, we dont get any Points for Qualy The Mandatory Stop is not correct. Or make the Costum Rules fully editable and a possibility to save them, So we can create our own Rules Set Open Pitstop from% to % for example
[OLD POST] Currently, starting a championship with two races per round will add practice and qualifying to the second race. An option to turn this off would be very nice, so you can go practice-quali-race1-race2. [NEW VERSION] Fully customisable race weekends for singleplayer, especially championships, could be handy in some cases. By 'fully customisable', I mean the ability to adjust the settings of every session (time of day, weather, length). I'm dreaming of a system where you can add sessions however you want, enabling you to have weekends like this: - Practice, Qualifying, Race - Practice, Qualifying, Race 1, Race 2 - Practice, Qualifying1 , Race 1, Qualifying 2, Race 2, Race 3 - ... For any race session, you should be able to select the 'grid position generation' from various options (random, Qualifying x, Race x, Race x with y reverse grid positions, championship standings, reverse championship standings, etc.) Going further, being able to adjust time of day, weather and length of each session of each championship round individually could be huge for endurance championships (set Monza as dry weather and rain for Spa etc.) or fans of recreating past real-life seasons, once the weather system is capable of such things in the future.
Sorry for being stupid...but what do you mean? I created a championship with 5min practice, 5min qualifying, 10min race1 length and 10min race2 length. I started the first round and had a look at the top, where the session overview is. It said 'practice1-qualifying1-race1-practice2-qualifying2-race2'.
Oh, now I know what you mean. (Maybe...) I set 'Grid for race 2' (or whatever it's called) to 'Qualifying', assuming that it takes the result from qualifying 1 as the order for both races. So in this case, I was just wrong. I edited my post above.
that is actually interesting to know. I was also always under the impression that grid two "qualifying" would just take the results from the first quali. I never used it but good to know that it is another quali session.
Tutorial for new racers. *How the game works *Basic racing techniques *Racing etiquette Add a minimum requirement for ranked races other than Rep, for example 5 valids laps on a car track combo to be allowed to participate on that same car track combo race.
When reviewing the race afterwards, you don't see any flags which were present during the race. Some find forcing slow-downs to game-like but if the people are not forced to slow down under yellow or when cutting the track or when they defend like hell while under a blue flag. When you want to report this, it's more easy if the flags are also shown in the replays.
In Assetto Corsa's Content Manager (and I think in rFactor 2 as well), you can not only set your AI strength, but also how much it should vary across the field. Such a slider for manual AI calibration could be very interesting. When you start to drive with a new car class, a field of AI with many different strengths is beneficial for having nice races while AI still adjusts to your strength. However, when you do the same combo very often, you could lower the 'spreading' of AI skill in order to have closer battles.
Not to forget the ability to set (a) custom pit window(s) and settings for the mandatory pit stop (esp. two or four tyres).
For multiclass races, per-class-qualifying would be beneficial for both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Yes, exactly that. Something between the current private qualifying for multiplayer races and the 'all on track' system for singleplayer qualifying.
We used to have a button binding for flashing headlights before the 2024 Q3 update. Can we have it back?
