Why do you want to turn them off? Is there a specific reason?

It's probably been asked for or suggested before, and it's most likely addressed in one of the Grid Talks but, I want to be able to turn everything on the HUD off, including the race banners/timing leader board that pops up during the race. The I don't know the exact name of those banners. Running an overlay Hud like Seal HUD, ends up looking very messy when the standard RaceRoom lap times, distance ahead, timing, position and race duration is on screen.

If these are already defeatable, then I did not see where I can turn it all off.

You mean when people cross the line the notifications to the left? Just set the game hud to "essentials only" and those pop-ups are gone. Also that gets rid of the sector times at the bottom of the screen too. If you select to turn off the entire hud, you don't get the penalty notifications anymore. But apart from that, everything can be turned off already.

Totally agree. More realistic advertising boards and new tree models would make such a difference

Like iRacing, PMR, ACE, can we please get a simple option to rotate the seat up and down, side to side? There plenty of real life scenarios/configuration of seat/wheel/monitor that doesn't match the expected angle. You already have up/down, near/far, why not a few more logical options?

I wish the tilt would work correctly on all cars

    Hi Andy,
like @MattStone said, it's the lack of "tilt" that always prevented me to perfectly line up real life head vs monitor position and angle vs the virtual one. Having the ability "tilt" and "rotate" like other sims, would fix this longstanding missing small feature.

    Thanks.

There is a tilt function there, plus or minus which you can bind to buttons or a key, i’m not sure if that was just for triple screen setup’s like mine. Problem I have, is that for some cars like the GT3 clas, the up-and-down bindings work great, but some other classes like the DTM2005, both the up and down bindings just go down in a massive increments.

Next time I’m at my PC I’ll take a screenshot of the binding options that I’m using

Thanks, looking forward to see those. FYI I have never been able to find/bind such option, since I always use the real-time visual adjustment option from the cockpit by clicking the arrows. With such approach, I don't see tilting arrows as well...

It’s probably Worth having a look for it anyway, I assume you’re adjusting your seat, height and backwards and forwards using the arrow in the FOV menu. on the right hand side of the window you should see some sliders. I think the one you need to adjust the tilt is called pitch

@MattStone I found the cockpit camera pitch setting you mentioned, but it seems to be global, not per car. We need it per car for the most flexibility (helmet, wheel partially hiding dash, etc...)

That is correct which is why I bind the +/- it to a key/button so I can adjusted it from car to car.
But this is where my heartache begins, it works perfectly in some cars but in other cars the the +/- bindings only pitch down in large increments forcing me to jump back into the FOV menu to adjust the slider!

But generally, once you've found that magic pitch angle, most cars are fine with the same pitch angle setting. The up/down seat height adjustment (which is car specific) is usually enough for minor adjustments
