Hi. I just wanted to say that the fact R3E only counts laps if the driver stays on the track is a very big advantage over Forza.
That, and also not counting the next lap, if you invalidate close to the end of the lap too - to prevent exploiting track limits to get a better exit out of the final section/corner. Better track limits and flag rules handling is one of the many reasons our league actually switched away from AC to RaceRoom.
I could not begin to count the number of complaints I've seen (on other boards) about RR's track limits, but I like it. For me, RR has the best leaderboards around, and one of the factors that makes it so is how strict the track limits are and how that levels the field, making the competitions that much more fair for everyone. Works for me. I do however wish that I could watch replays in leaderboard mode so I can see just how far across the white line I had been, because there are times I'm like come on now, that wasn't over the line, even though it must have been. I'd like to be able to lay my eyes on it though
Do instant replays not work on leaderboards? Every time i have such moments i use the instant replay only to find out i was in fact over the line . But thats usually in single player practice sessions..
In single player practice sessions, when you press pause, one of the menu options is the instant replay which is the replay of the last 5 minutes. But as i said, ive never checked if theyre available on leaderboards or competitions
Did you try with the icon at the top right? There should be all the sessions you do recorded there...
yes it does. it even creates 2 replays, one of the whole session and one for the fastest lap seperately.
