    https://github.com/MmAaXx500/proton-ge-custom/releases

download this and extract this into ~/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/

under compatibility tools search this, they forgot to change the name of the Proton

don't use SDL, PROTON_HIDRAW, Xinput or DirectInput related parameters in launch options, otherwise it will appear disconnected

now enjoy your Thrustmaster wheel on R3E and Welcome to Linux

The one thing keeping me on Windows. If TM just coƶperated there wouldn't be any problems and I would finally be relieved completely of MS. I'll try it out. Tnx.

update: if you want to put dotnet apps alongside the game, to install dotnet, create the prefix first with different runner, run the installer, then switch to that fixed runner

In the past tried several linux versions (Red Hat, Mandrake and later Ubuntu, Kunbuntu and Mint). Under Mint the wheel reacted but no FFB and the advanced setting on the F1 wheel didn't work. I'll try to run Linux Mint in VMWare first.

BTW: I was amazed by how smooth R3E ran under Mint.
