Hi, got a G29 today, installed the Logitech gaming software and ensured my wheel has the latest firmware. I'm unable to get the steering to be recognised in game. Pedals and buttons work fine. In advanced settings turning the wheel doesn't show up on the on screen indicator. Pedals show up fine. I had a quick race in Forza 7 so I know it works but I'm pretty stumped I have to say, can anyone help? Have tried the wheel in both ps3 and ps4 mode. Thanks!
Ok, going to hold my hands up here for ridicule. Somehow, the power cable had wriggled itself out of the power block. I feel suitably sheepish
yep, the Buttons and Pedals are powered by USB and the wheel and FFB are powered by the main cable. I dont think anyone except logitech knows why
I have the same problem. How do I get to the main cable to make sure it is not loose. I can see the usb cable goes into the back of the steering wheel and this is good but the wire that connects the steering wheel to the pedals, is this the problem one?
