I tried to parteciate to daily races and the game crashed. I have tried to check and repair on steam (two new files installed after the check) same crashed when i tried again. No changes on system. My Pc have windows 10 64bit AMd ryzen 7 32 GB ram and rtx 3070. Here the crash log files. Thanks
something really weird happend ... screen switched to desktop with "Game crashed ..." message on desktop, BUT game is still running, i can switch back to fullscreen game view and can go on driving (stopped can ontrack with breaks while error message was allready displayed!! everything works fine in the background, sound changes with inputs, shifting hearable ...) the moment i switched back to desktop manually and clicked "ok" on the error message, the game closed MP Tatuus Imola Practice session in some way funny @ShortyBuzzGER @Maskerader
Having same problem as all above I have only got to play game once and that was in championship mode only from about 12 attempts now. I have cleared steam cache, verified game files and turned off the particle effects and put onto medium graphics setting in case of that was a problem as have a lower spec system. Have read above posts that internet settings can be a problem but as noted by another that all other games are working fine. can we have an idea from KW Studios what we should do to resolve - try to fix for us all please.
Ahhh! I have found my problem now as in single player option it was set to a track - Nurburgring which I do not own. on clicking on championship now with the owned free tracks it goes into the game on all of them. Strange after the update it was set on a track I do not own and to just give a crash dump when trying to load instead of going to the purchase section ! It did not occur to me as have that track on ACC which I play more regular. maybe this is also the problem with other beginners here to Raceroom ?
I'll throw another crash in here, this was my last attempt at playing until fixed. I was seconds in on the track, after just restarting due to a crash on load. Included some extra's just in case. Good luck!
another crash like the one described here: Game crashed (exception code 0xC0000005) tatuus practice MP Session @ShortyBuzzGER @Maskerader
and again ... another crash like the one described here: Game crashed (exception code 0xC0000005) falkenberg TT cup MP Practice session @ShortyBuzzGER @Maskerader
omg ... unbelievable ... not one lap done ... crashed ... x-22 competition think its time to go to assetto corsa ... this makes no sense any more
Try deleting the ShaderCache.bin file from Documents/MyGames/SimBin/Raceroom Racing Experience/UserData. This eliminates crashes for me for a few days. I delete that file regularly every day and I haven't had Crash anymore.
You can also try deleting the whole Cache folder here: Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\BrowserData\Cache That’s fixed a few crashes for me. I think sometimes a crash can corrupt one of the cache files, and then the game keeps crashing whenever it tries to load that broken file. The game recreates the Cache folder so don't worry about loosing any data or settings
Deleting the cache folder or only shadercache.bin didn't work for me. 2nd lap, the gamecrashed. I restarted and no further crash occured that day. The crashes seems so random. Tried several in-game changes in the graphic menu amd those on the GPU itself. Sometimes I think I got it (like when I turnedof the particles) but after a few days it starts again.
The glass is full! This game doesn't crash since the update, only when I'm not using it... It's true, the graphics are nicer, the multiplayer is nicer, but it freezes all the time..both in dx9 and vkdx mode..I usually use competitive mode... Need more? I have... AMD 9800X3D GTX 4080 SUPER WIN 10
