Hi all, I’m fairly new to RR and have been enjoying it immensely so far but wondered if I’m getting the best out of that I can graphically?

I was given an old pc running windows 10 (don’t know exact spec), if I try and run DXVK then I cannot use menu’s so I think that’s a non starter.

I had been running everything on ultra or high as much as it allowed but although it was sufficient I’ve been trying different things, I did have sharpening and auto exposure intensity on 0 but now with everything else reduced to just high instead of ultra I’ve bumped this up to 75 on each and it seems better.

is there anything else I should be doing to get the best out of it? Forgive me I don’t fully understand all the settings!

If you have an nVidia GPU I'd suggest to use its sharpening feature instead of an in-game one because it's less demanding. For some reason it's put in "Image scaling" option in nVidia control panel, but you don't need to use scaling, just set sharpening to what you like and leave resolution at native.

While you're there, increase Anisotropic filtering to 16x and Texture quality to "High quality", this will make textures cleaner and sharper in the distance.

It's better to set it only for Raceroom so that other programs aren't affected. This tab, "Program settings". Click on it, then select Raceroom from the drop-down list.

Thanks for posting this, quickly tried it last night and it didn’t seem to polish it up as hoped but I’ve probably missed something on the in game settings so will have another look tonight.

I ended up reverting to my original settings at the top of the thread, that seems to be as good as I can get it for now
