Problem H Pattern Shifting Unavailable

I can't get my h pattern shifter to register in-race. All the bindings are assigned except neutral (ergo the shifter is registering in the key binding process), and I even tried assigning that to a button, neither worked. I've tried pressing the brakes in when starting, tried every footwork and gear combination, etc. and have had no luck. Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance.

My suggestion to the devs would be to make it a selectable option again; I can't imagine why this was changed.

Fanatec Clubsport 1.5 shifter with a DD2 base.

Same here, i can't get m'y shh shifter in h pattern works.Every command is well assigned but while in the car (with h pattern) i can't change gear.
After checking , i dont have the option to choose anymore.
Devs, any tips ?

 

Bind all 7 gears and reverse and use h-pattern shift cars from my link above.

Don't know if the recently added Neutral lockout feature works on H-pattern shift too (upd: no, it doesn't), but try holding brakes while shifting to 1st gear.

 

neutral lock should be seq only
