Interesting subject… Indeed, how can we help? I have been playing this sim since it came out and is maybe my favourite. I think that its own old school feeling is the reason that i keep playing it, but here in Croatia, i can see many new players, so it must be that developers are doing something good. As good for me, a 40yr old, and for the new generations that are coming. We can only buy new content to keep them grow as developers and the rest would come! Raceroom4life

I disagree; the status quo is not working. We need formal "time/energy" investment in marketing or special videos (like Pimax) does to show the additional details and additional value and differentiators from RaceRoom.

I guess that's why KW is working on improvements. Besides that, the status quo isn't that bad. Steam numbers are consistent, online races are well-attended (as long as GT3 is not free, please stop this Luca) and AI racing is (mostly) possible.
The best thing to do would be to increase the team size to be able to get more frequent updates (especially feature-wise) so RaceRoom can finally leave its 'outdated' status.
Indeed there are probably lots of people who don't know that there is a Gumpert Apollo in RaceRoom, or a Pagani Zonda or Twin Ring Motegi. However, what makes you try a sim is content and features, but what makes you stay with a sim is its feeling. I tried LMU again on Friday, but I just can't feel the car. I really want to drive some endurance races at night in the rain, but it just doesn't work for me due to a lack of feeling (and the horrible VR performance). Going back to RaceRoom, I felt at home. If someone feels LMU and can't get along with RaceRoom's FFB, nice marketing videos won't make them return. And changing the FFB isn't a thing I'd spent time and money on. Rather add some random noise texture to the road to make the wheel vibrate a bit, but that's for another thread.

I really think one of the things that this game needs and would be possible with implementation of the new UI is a little “polish”. I liked GTR2 mod Power and glory with their info of almost every car, every livery, as far as I can remember, that little thing got me into the search of my new hero driver. I remember when I first drove Ken Miles GT40, who was THIS MAN… Then Jacky Ickx… i mean that little thing got the game and mod to another dimension, at least for me.
