    Hi,
My Simrig runs on the one-hand a 32:9 widescreen at 5120x1440 resolution, and an HP Reverb G2 for VR.

What I would like to achieve is - to run R3E on the Reverb G2, and in the meantime turn the widescreen to black (no need to burn lots of energy). However, I do run into some conflicts and problems with that.

Trial 1 - the obvious: turn the widescreen off. Strangely, VR is not running smooth at all when the screen is off. Instead of ~90 fps, I only get ~60 fps --> not a solution

Trial 2 - set ingame resolution to a borderless window 5120 x1440. The screen is displayed as black, fps are high, but the HUD is super tiny, independant of HUD scale selected from the menu (2160 down to 720). To circumvent that, I tried a) to map buttons to adjust HUD scale --> they didn't do anything or b) modifiy HUD elements manually with the mouse --> that only worked only partially; track map e.g. worked; the bar with the opponents ranking on the other hand, couldn't be resized with that method

Trial 3 - set ingame resolution to a borderless window 1280 x 720 and HUD size in menu to 720 --> perfectly readible HUD size in VR, ~90 fps, but obviously, only a tiny bit of my widescreen is displayed black.

None of my ideas managed to cover all aspects.

So, how can I achieve my goal? Any other hidden tricks to resize the HUD (e.g. a config file)? Why are the "Resize HUD in VR" buttons not working?

    THX for your ideas,
    Mike
