Thanks to the latest update, I'm just rediscovering RRRE, and I'm blown away by it! So much so, that I'm willing to spend more money, and I'm considering buying the Premium Pack but I can't find it in the store. Have KW Studios got rid of these special packs (other than the new online pack... )?
Yes, Premium pack was deleted and many others. Even yearly packs for ADAC, DTM, WTCC, WTCR aren't all there anymore, some were deleted too. There is no information about what's gonna happen with packs. From what Raceroom employees say, it seems that Premium pack is unlikely to come back and maybe some different packs will come instead, but that's all for now.
Hey, Thanks for your swift reply! Too bad, I was ready to spend some money as a returning loyal customer but without any discount for completing my collection, I just won't. I did purchase the online pack, though. It's a great value!
Its really too bad. If you want to buy all content now it gets ridiculously expensive. I am in the same situation, i deleted my account like a year ago because of... reasons... And now i wanted to get back into raceroom but there is no way im spending this amount of money again.. So sorry raceroom but there are other alternatives out there if you want to be like that
Just want to add that these packs were removed as they were causing technical issues with purchases, not because of marketing strategy. But as mentioned, we also don't know yet if/when they can come back or if they will be replaced with something different.
The absense of some, but not all, yearly packs makes me think the decision was driven by more than just technical issues. Otherwise, why not create them again, this time in a way that doesn't cause issues.
Com Completely agree with that feeling I bought the premium pack in 2018 if memory serves me well was hoping KW would do some commercial gesture for people like me willing to top up full content in one shot never happened and the consequences are that I bought very little content over the years and actually left RRE With the recent improvements I was coming back and enjoying the experience again but this Premium offer out of scope now is not giving me good vibes
Yes, there has been quite the cull of everything apart from DTM car packs! I also noticed the TC free Lada now has a black livery.

Yes but that does not explain why smaller packs like WTCR 20, ADACs after 2015 and all manner of old timer packs like Gr 5 and Touring classics have been delisted, which is what @Maskerader was mentioning.
Please fix this as other cars are so fun to drive. It is hard to see raceroom go alive and I want it to be successful I already have the premium pack years ago
I´d say that the shop portal is definitely snappier with less packs available but perhaps the choice of which ones to retain could be better - I mean how many DTM or WTCC between 2013-2016s do we really need with basically repeated content and just liveries as differences at the expense of stuff mentioned before or even GT4s and STCCs. I can understand the latter pack being redundant now there is and will be extra cars in that class, so hopefully in the future these limitations will be addressed.
i think the point was that recently something was wrong with how older packs were calculated and how many people who tried to buy them just failed , so all those packs were hidden until a solution was found or new packs are made and tested within the changes that will happen in the future this is my opinion , not a direct answer from JF Andi
It's not just older packs, the supertourer pack has disappeared as well. Then there are the two drift cars, which don't have a package deal. The hypercar situation is odd; the pack can be accessed through the individual car selection, but currently isn't listed in the packs section of the store.
