This is an espescially challenging combination for me too and for everybody I think, but it seems so easy with the M1 after a session with the 934 !!
I guess it's all relative then, eh? I'd like to struggle to a 7:17 I must say, that would be OK with me! As it stands I turned a 34-flat, but lost time with mistakes. Theoretical shows a significant improvement, but it seems I have to drive one good lap, not add up all the best sectors. Having trouble with locking the brakes when I least expect it. I slid out at Aremberg and ruined several laps where I was running out n front of my ghost. Still time to get it right I reckon.
I also often have problems slowing down the car at Aremberg, Bergwerk, Steilstrecke and Schwalbenschwanz but I don't really understand why. Just like if there was very few brake power suddenly.
Exactly. It's so unexpected that I wonder if I am overheating the brakes. But maybe it's too cold, not too hot, as you just finished with the flat-out section from Flugplatz. All the corners you named saw some slides from me. And curses. Self-recrimination. Shame.
Nice work at Sachsenring DG. That's a stellar lap, and I know you were keen to go again and regain the top spot eh? My lap I feel is one of the best I've turned in RR, and your lap took me from eight tenths back to 1.4 seconds! Congrats Even if I'm slow, I absolutely adore these fictional whips, the Silhouette class. They drive so beautifully, such fine balance. You can really go for it and hang it all out there. And Sachsenring is a delightful circuit. Nice combination, this. My favorite this round.
Thank you but you are currently 16th out of 418 entrants, you can't say you are slow! This track needs to be practiced a lot, espescially the first sector with unusual sequences of curves, and the setup on these Silhouettes won't make big gaps.
Ha, it's all relative. I'm happy with the lap. I'm a fan of tracks like this. Elevation change, corners over crests, no chicanes. And this class of car is a good match I think. You drive the Tatuus F4 at Imola and might think, well, this isn't a good match, it's too slow for the circuit. But the Silhouettes and Sachsenring dovetail nicely.
Hit the Nordschleife competition this round on the 24-Hour layout in the Huracan, and what a fantastic car this is. It sounds absolutely vicious and handles beautifully. Is it rear wheel drive? Feels like all wheel, and I can't have enough of this V-10 note. Sublime. Not happy with the lap and I'll hit it again
I turned my fast lap at TC3 and that felt good, but I can't say it gained any time. More like let's see how this feels, than being dissatisfied with TC1. This is a fun car to run around here, but that makes it far from unique as many cars share that trait Thanks to the competition committee for keeping the Nordschleife in the rotation every round. These were my first laps in the Lambo and I liked it
Loving the Race Into Summer action. Two Nordschleifens! Or is it Nordschleifennen? Haha just joking, Germans must have a much longer word for this. There are about seventeen ranked leaderboard competitions up right now. Fantastic. Keep it up!
Thank you. I will have to make another session as I had not enough time to drive this evening and I was not really satisfied with my lap.
I see Nico popping up at the top of the boards now too. Great driving mate. Quite a battle at Charade. A sub-50 is outrageous here. I was sitting on top for nearly a week and now I'm 2.5 seconds off the pace. Need a new hobby
At least youre still the best non ktm Was hoping @Denis Gicquel was gonna skip the gt4s even if its on charade but i now see he has made an appearance Guess my hope is on the z4 at most competition then but even there times are getting faster and faster so winning might remain a distant dream
If there is any relation then our most recent common ancestor are my great great grandparents or even further generations in the past and julian received a lot more of the alien genes than i did . While ill take the compliment, comparing me to julian is a bit of a stretch
Yeah, maybe so but I look at the board and there you are right with him. And looking at that same board I noticed I am the top non-X Bow driver, so I think I should drive the X Bow. Right tool for the job I reckon. Anyway, you guys are inspiring and it motivates me to improve. Keep up the fine work
Half a second is a gap i can comfortably live with but also not what id call right there with him Wouldnt have needed to look at the board for that Thanks, im sure over time you can get closer and closer to the top
