I am using SIM Dashboard and have made a button box for a number of functions, including PAUSE with esc as the binding key. However in order to resume it is necessary to click the onscreen game prompt with the mouse. Is there a way to have the PAUSE button to be pressed again to resume play?

I though it already worked like that (in single player). Maybe the fact that youre using esc as the button messes something up, have you tried using another button for pause?

Thank you @Nico Kunze that was the issue as the games default is esc for pause, and esc is also used to void or cancel the binding action therefore the binding key is then NULL. By changing the binding key to anything else it now works as I was hoping for.
