No matter the track or the car, Leaderboard Challenge mode in Single Player doesn`t save my time with corresponding on-screen message being shown. Found when practiced TC Cup Lada Vesta both eSport and regular free version. Tracks were Monza and Silverstone Grand Prix. Still actual after 28/10/2025 patch
Have you been back to check the leaderboard now, sometimes it takes a while for the server/leaderboard to update timings Chris
It is not about lap time result registration lag. I receive the on-screen message "The upload of your performance on the leaderboard failed"
This is NOT a new problem. At least for me this happens only on a few car/track combis. Try another track or car.
It's really been a problem since several days. You can record a laptime but not the improvements that happen later. I drove at the Norisring in DTM 2016 and my laptime that shows in the leaderboard is 48:377, even if I improved to 48:370, 48:358, 48:352 and finally 48:314. A friend of mine improved to 48:284 two days ago but his recorded laptime is still 48:461. I also drove the BMW 635 CSi on several tracks and had the same problem, even if some laptimes appeared after a very long time (up to 24 hours I think).
Seems like almost the same case. I didn't even set any lap time registered in leaderboard. Just keep watching that same message
The most interresting about it is that lapTime file saved locally without any problem. But "The upload of your performance on the leaderboard failed". What the...
It seems the leaderboards still don't get updated. I drove on several tracks yesterday from 6 PM to 8 PM (CET) and the laptimes don't appear or only the first ones recorded appear. This problem is several weeks long now.
I have the same(leaderboard could not be saved) but only with one car . Started yesterday during hotlapping, my PB was'nt saved and it is still not saved today. When i take another car or class, it works
Same here - I have improved my time by a second and a half on the leaderboard. My ghost car is the improved time, but the time for the race is the old time and this has been all week. there has to be a fix?
Me too. Maybe it only happens when there is also a MP race. Lost my qualitime 3 times in the last day. Mazda MX-5 Interlagos.
I get that message all day now. I tried other cars on other tracks. Sometimes it uploads the time, sometimes not. And sometimes it uploads a slower time than previously set while still in the same car, same track without returning to the garage or leaderboard. I set a fast lap and after a few invalid laps I set a much slower time, and that's the time that gets uploaded.
Can you upload 2 log files (game.log and mwtransport.log) from such a session where times aren't uploaded or are overwritten by slower time? By the way, quick question in between: if you check the leaderboard like a few hours later, does it still show the slower lap time or does it show the faster laptime? Anyway, the log files are found here: ...\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\Log
I did check the leaderboards. One time (directly after setting my fastest lap, it was uploaded, although in-game I got the message it failed to upload). And later on, It was replaced by a slower time. I did check it also via the website without logging in. I added the log files of the last two days. Normally I only have the problem of a slower laptime overwriting a faster one when that same car-track combination is on the daily ranked races. But now it happens on other leaderboard timetrials too and it now shows the message that it failed to upload it to the leaderboards (never had that before). NB: I did got a forced update of Win11 this week - KB2267602 which forced my pc with several restarts.
Yesterday's maintenance brought in 2 fixes for leaderboards and on discord on person said LBs save his times again and his fastest time is kept instead of overwritten. So please all try again.
It seems the problem is still there. I drove at Adria 2003 and Vallelunga with the Chevrolet Dekon Monza several hours ago and only my first lap was recorded. I also drove at the Norisring with the same car and the Alpine Cup but the improvements were recorded...
