Hi All, I'm really looking forward to this Easter Sale and 50% discount on individual cars and tracks. I would probably prefer that all remaining content be placed into packs (since packs already bring with them a decent discount), but 50% off is still a very nice discount. However, it seems there's no way for me to see the price of any car liveries until after I own the car. Is that true? I think this happened when Sector3 changed how car purchases happen. It used to be that you were given one, fixed livery with the car price, but you could still see all the other liveries and their prices before buying. Now, along with the livery choice you have when adding a car to the cart, there's no way to see what the other liveries will cost. Or, I'm being foolish and completely missing this information. Well, thanks for confirming, Christian. Of course, I'd rather hear that I was just missing where these prices were shown. So, Sector3, any plans to show the livery prices as you used to? It's hard for me to grasp why they're not visible. Call me OCD, but I really prefer to have the cars with their full set of liveries and some of those GT3 cars have a lot! I shouldn't have to guess at what each car/livery set will truly cost before I pay for the car. If all liveries were the same prices, then obviously, I could calculate, but if memory serves, they vary. And...this is another reason packing up all the remaining content would be quite welcome! I want to spend my vrps but I like to know complete prices first. Thanks!
Well I guess you will not have it adapted within the Easter-Sale. So I've just checked the Livery-prices during the Sale for the GT3-Cars Each livery costs 25vRP. There might be some liveries that are cheaper, as there are some fictional on the Z4 or Alpina for example.
All liveries are same price, which is 49. In the past it was indeed not the case and some were more or less expensive. But as you rightfully mentioned, we changed the system to allow you guys to pick the livery you want when you buy a car, and that came with the requirement that all liveries should cost the same.
Hi Johnny, OCD is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsessive–compulsive_disorder) and I don't actually have this mental problem. I was using that phrase lightly (and perhaps insensitively) to joke about my completionist need -- in this case, to have all liveries with each car, regardless of whether I'll ever actually drive with each.
I appreciate your checking the prices for me, since I don't any cars without also owning all the liveries, so I can't see any prices. Thanks!
Ah, that makes sense about needing identical livery prices so that some users don't get effectively more or less value for the car purchase, dependant on the chosen livery. Perhaps, you could consider indicating the livery prices somewhere in the store, so that customers don't have to wonder. I have the info I need now, however. Thanks so much, J-F!
