Thrustmaster recently released a new open wheel with a working display. I guess they're adding the support so it can get data from R3E and show it on the LCD display on the wheel

The new replay options, will this enable us to create custom camera sets?

Sorry, German here who didn't see the typo as one.

Finally found my sweet spot on my OSW with ffb. Now reading this fears me that things can become tricky again. Hope for the best, excited as a little kid, this was my favourite sim :)

Hello. For me, the FFB change is the best news I could hope for. Raceroom is a game that does not deserve a FFB like the current one. I think most of the people I know say they don't play Raceroom because of the FFB. It is a system that does not convey any sensation, but from what I have read in the news there is going to be an important change. I am eager to try it. Thanks for the job.

Read the notes. It says that the effects will stay as optional.

"The core idea of FFB is to simulate the feeling of driving a car as closely as possible. There are two main aspects to this, the first being the steering forces that you would feel in the steering wheel of the real car, and the second aspect is to enhance the experience by emulating other sensations you would have while driving a real car. A good example of this is the feeling of the car bouncing up and down as you drive on the track, which is almost never perfectly smooth. In a real car you would feel this mostly through the seat, which is why you have motion platforms such as TrackTime, or "buttkickers" to get these forces to actually come through your simulator seat. However, those devices are still rare and not many simracers are equipped with them, so an alternative is to add these forces to the FFB in some way. It might not be the same as feeling it through the seat, but for a part of the simracing community, it can increase the feeling of immersion. Not everyone likes these extra effects, so it remains something optional for the simracers that do want it, while those that prefer pure steering forces can stick to that."

Ok, maybe nothing stating explicitly that it stays, but there's also nothing stating that i'll be gone

I walked away from this title as well due to the numb and lifeless ffb, so i'm really happy to see that they are going to make a change here and bring it up to a more modern standard. The changes look very promising on paper. Would also like to see DX11, but they continue to insist on DX9 for some reason.

I don’t think it is just a matter of raising a few numbers. ;)
