Suggestion..I really liked the old Simbin's GTR/GTR2 game..Why not re-invent "The" FIA GT 2004 Cars on RaceRoom?? from the old game..;) That would be something..lol

    Licencing would be near impossible.
I wouldn't mind having more GT1s with revised physics though, those are proper beastly GTs!

Interestingly the 2003 cars in GTR1 on sale on Steam still include the Ferraris and Porsches. Could the 2003 license be re-used? Perhaps not.

    Doubt it.
While I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about the licensing process, I would assume the license is valid for one particular game only.
E.g. the Steam version of GTR2 doesn't include the Porsches (well....not as such at any rate) due to the licensing being for the original GTR2. Presumably the license lapsed in the time between the two releases.

Have you heard of Formula UK?
4 liter V10 engine and 640 hp, strong aero. Could be quite interesting, maybe license isn't to expensive.
    edit: hm, some uk tracks?

Just go get TCR. It's the future of FWD touring car racing.

What about a fun cup? With delivery-vans ? You've to carry a dead weight for a minimum of 30% of the race.. No matter if you start or finish, you've to make a pitstop to load or unload your penalty-weight thing (a box of 1 by 1 by 1 meter?) andthen got to racing again.. Very unusal kind of racing, but the benefits you've by ending the race with the weight can also be your disadvantage because unloading the wight could go faster and you've probably more time to make progress through the race to the finish than loosing the race by a slower pitstop and the unloaded vans could closing the gap very easely. Very curious to this kind of 'lorry-racing..' :p :D

Actually, I already work as courier/driver, but I can't race with my car or the load will be damaged an our customers will run away :(:D

I do think R3E needs GT4. It is a fairly popular series these days with PWC even adopting the class along with an ever growing fleet of unique cars.

At the moment, I do think R3E needs TCR, GT4, and possibility something like V8 Supercars or the currently outgoing racing UTEs. If not, something really different such as racing trucks (ADAC runs one, afaik) or Legends/Midgets/Aussie Race Cars. Heck, even more VLN would be nice.
