Did you change any existing files for this update?
I found 18 new ones but I wondered if you maybe updated existing files because of the changelog.

I have already ported my app to rF2 and its in testing since I had already the rf2 plugin.

That means it should be fairly easy for Mr Belowski to port his app as well. I'll gladly give him the rF2 code or even write a layer for him to use :)

I need to have a look at the rf2 shared memory contents. Decoupling my app from the r3e shared memory block is straightforward enough but I don't know if much of my events logic would make sense in the context of another sim.

All my stuff is designed around the data r3e exposes, and a lot of my stuff is designed to work around the data r3e doesn't (but probably should) expose.

Not saying it can't be ported, but it might be a big job. And I really struggle to enjoy rf2 at the moment so testing wouldn't be much fun.

Someone asked if an AC port was feasible so I've already started thinking about the required refactoring, but not put it on the to-do list yet

No worries, I understand mate :) I only ported mine because I worked a lot with rF2 and kind of had everything ready.

Righty, I've just uploaded a new version. This does *not* require a new sound pack so can be updated by just unzipping the V2.2.1_no_sound_pack zip file over the top of your existing installation. It's only a couple of bug fixes - nothing new or cool.

This fixes the broken tyre temp monitor (it kept telling you your tyre temps here OK, every lap, even if they weren't) and now doesn't tell you you've done the fastest lap of the race when you're in qual / practice

You update it to quickly! :p
Maybe it'll be good to add an auto-uodate feature ;-)

But does it tell you you're fastest lap of the session?

When I try using "launch_raceroom" enabled, app crashes at start. Disabled works just fine as always.

Just for the sake of testing and reporting, not a feature I actually want to use. ;)

Will check the tyre temp stuff

When you say "app crashes", what do you mean? Does r3e crash? What does it say/ do? Do you normally run r3e with some other start arguments? Or does crew chief crash?

Thanks for the bug reports :)

no it just straight crashes(chiewchief has stopped working) i don't believe i use any start arguments.
(ill check to see how far it gets on prompt but i imagine it gets to the bit in which it try's to start steam/raceroom)

What version of .net? Have you set your path to steam.exe? Is there anything in the windows application event log?
