Pedal Assignment

having an issue with getting pedals assigned in RRE today, when I click the bind button and press my gas or brake to assign nothing happens.

Gear:
Fanatec DD2 - No Issues getting it to register
Simagic P2000 pedals - Can't get them to assign

Pedals work find in ACC and AMS2, just not in RRE, any suggestions?

Hopefully they will address this soon, was hoping to give RRE a try again.

 

Some ppl this works fine , no idea why , id love to help , but if you need help please download diview , and get onto the discord channel and ill do my best to help

someone else said they worked fine until he tried agin since the pedals had a firmware update, now he said they don't, i dunno how raceroom detects controllers but it's been nothing but a hassle over the years, even with fanatec gear this happened to me in the past, no other game has these issues

 

it helps us if someone is willing to spend 20 odd minutes trying to debug this

i just tried diview and the pedals are recognised as simagic pedals and the axis work as intended, is there anything specific you'd want me to do in diview?

The very same experience that I had.

 

I didnt need to see if it worked in diview , what i needed to do was go through a process , doing various things , the software, diview , steam and the game , in a voice chat with video , to create certain logs , and some other stuff..
You chose not to help , and chose to be rude ,
Its true im a moderator here and in discord , but im also a tester and have been since day 1 of the game , i took my personal time (near midnight my time )to go through this process with another user and i thank him for this , thus creating the logs , these have been sent to the devs , to the pedal manufacturer and to there software guy .. the devs are still waiting for an answer from them

I and the devs have done everything in our power so far , and we are waiting for feedback
