At the moment we have a competition with de Silhouette series. In the list the Perf. Index of these cars is 205 But we have now 4 races, and we noticed some big difference between the 4 type of cars where we can choose out. It's a bit ashame, because we thought that the difference should be very close when we looked at this list.
Performance index is wrong for Silhouettes, this class is between GT3 and GT4 in pace (and closer to GT3 than GT4), but the difference in speed is a class balance issue, not a performance index issue.

Using the BOP, try and try until you find a setting that allows the 4 cars to compete closely. You can add weight or decrease the engine power. As what I see in the store, there's some differences in terme of weight and power on the cars. Try to match a unique setting first and adjust from there! That's surprising as they are the most powerful and lightest cars of the series. Then, just try to adjust with the BoP on the faster cars to make them slower.

I would start with doing laps in all cars to get their laptimes and top speeds. Cars with higher top speed will need their power restricted a bit, cars with faster laptimes will need more weight. Set these and repeat the process until you get them all to do similar laptimes. I'd also ignore the numbers in the store, because it's very possible they were never updated. They do not come from the actual physics files of these cars, they are nothing more than some numbers typed in the store. You can never be sure that they are correct. Plus a car is more than just power and weight.
Thanks for the advice again. But for this season we let it as it is, because we don't have the exact feeling and experience to test these cars on different track We have every two weeks an event of 2 races on one evening. The second race is with the weight manager and the top 10 reversed. Then in the second race the difference is not so big anymore. We learned our lesson out of this, and for our next competition we go for 1 car, so that everyone have the same to race with. Thanks again.

Based on Alex Hodgkinson's "Car List Master," I've created a vehicle overview sorted by model. I find it very helpful for selecting vehicles on the dedicated server. There are still a few things missing (especially for DRS and P2P), and some information that isn't listed in the shop has been supplemented with "should be" information (which could be incorrect). I'm attaching it here (PDF & XLSX) in case someone else wants to use it. If anyone has any corrections, I would be grateful if they would share them with me. Thanks for the tip. Is there a way (and the time) to check the performance index of the Silhouette Series? Imho, this index isn't correct either. This is especially annoying when running a multiclass server with the Silhouette Series, and they have to start behind slower classes.
Performance index is kind of a mix. It not only depends on the start, if a car is faster or slower, but also on performance over the full lap. maybe silhouettes are just good starters but slower overall? If they are faster both, yes, index should be changed^^
My experience with the silhouettes is very limited, can only really talk about zolder, but based on that theyre way quicker than the performance index would indicate. They have an index of 170 but do lap times that are probably around the level of a porsche cup car which has an index of 110 Edit: judging by the leaderboards theyre actually even faster than the cup porsches
I know the leaderboards aren't representative right now, as they were recently reset. However, a quick look at some times from the leaderboard shows that the Silhouette Series should indeed be close to the 110 index, as Nico Kunze noted.
