Please have the game remember my weather settings I set. Nothing irritates me more than having to restart my session, because I forget to change the weather from RANDOM! Thank you.
I heard somewhere else that this issue has been acknowledged and will be dealt with when the rest of the UI is updated. Let's hope that this will happen in Q4 and try to not get annoyed too much with it... Don't get me wrong, I share your opinion, it is indeed annoying and in my eyes (not a software developer, just a guy who can make some funny little things in Java) difficult to understand why this has not been resolved in the past twelve months.
So you are expecting it in the Q3 update of 2026? Actually, the RaceRoom way would be to update the store page for cars in Q4, then the main menu in Q1 26, after that the store page for tracks in Q2, singleplayer menu in Q3 and everything else will follow in Q4, but at the same time, the multiplayer will get an overhaul and look differently, so nothing fits together any more. (I know that's mean, but I couldn't resist...)
So far I haven't heard a single bit of info about what they are doing with the rest of UI at this moment. For a few years we were waiting for the so called "Dark UI part 2" that would bring the rest of UI to the same style as settings page and driving session UI, but it was probably postponed to bring new features instead of just redesigning the looks. And now the ranked UI is so much different again, are they going to redesign it all again? The backend also needs more work to allow all of what J-F said he wants in the new menus.
