I haven't used RR for over a year. Then I became aware of these lines in the latest Changlog: Force Feedback - Introducing dynamic linearity, which allows us to adjust the forces for each individual vehicle via the steering geometry and power steering. This makes all vehicles feel more grounded and solid, especially at low speeds. This update removes the need for the previous FFB linearity slider, which was removed with the update. The changes help to get the best out of each wheel type. However, some weaker wheels may require a slightly higher 'Minimum Force' setting as the linearity setting has been removed. Users who have previously worked with a linearity of over 85% should not need to change anything. However, at 80% and below, it is recommended to increase the minimum force by 1% or 2%. I reinstalled it and tested the Gr5. And friends, KW Studios now has an FFB that I feel at home and comfortable with. I understand what the vehicle is doing when and to every situation. The best thing is, just like in rF2 I don't have to play around with the FFB for a long time, no, a few fine tunigs and it runs. Well, the 1:40:760 on Sonoma is not a best time, there are still 8 tenths missing, but I am overjoyed that RR finally has a FFB again that I can understand. A dream these cars and this track! It's great to see RR on the straight again! You can download the setup in the description. Setup: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18R5C2cVG1GjcdQ9OduxCm5SqUujK_oL8/view?usp=sharing
Well got "inspired" after watching jimmy broadbents video yesterday and gave it a go myself but of course in r3e
Love you took the Moto Layout with the "soft" chicane - DTM does it too again nowadays - the "edgy" one is such an immersion killer especially on this track (which I btw. like a lot - still underrated )
Today I'm in RaceRoom on the beautiful new track "Circuit de Charade" located in France and the track is beautifully implemented. The visuals and the road surface are simply a feast for the eyes and a pleasure to drive. I'm driving the M1 Procar here and honestly, friends? If you blindfolded me now and said, hey, you're not driving in rfactor 2 but in RaceRoom, I wouldn't notice the difference. And that's the biggest compliment KW Studios can get! Since the last FFB update, RR is finally back where it should be. And better than before! As of today, you have the opportunity to check from 18.6 to 25.06 whether I'm just talking PR shit or whether I'm right after all. You have 1 week to test the complete content of RaceRoom for free! I have made my setup available for download in the description below this video. Let's see what my time is worth. Yes, you should feel challenged by me now. What are you waiting for? #raceroom #simracing #kwsuspension
