Great drive ... and wonderful graphics . Your GPU should be very capable. My RTX 4060 never renders such beautiful scene in R3E.
I am still learning in Nürburgring Nordschleife of RaceRoom Racing Experience (Ver.0.9.6.60) ...... But this time, I play with OpenTrack + mobile phone camera as a basic head tracking combo. Please jump to 10:18 for OpenTrack effect
A couple laps onboard the 2015 R8 LMS around Spa. Wasnt pushing particularly hard during that session, just ticking off consistent laps for an hour . Very heavily inspired by footage such as 4:15:20 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/live/J7tX9ebW3aI?si=9WTFTVbIom4XWH4w . Watched that a couple days ago and it looked so smooth and flowing that i wanted to try and copy it as good as possible (from gear selection to racing line and kerb usage to mid corner coasting phases to the livery choice and the general camera angle ) and its probably been the most enjoyable driving a gt3 around spa has ever been to me so ill consider it a success already As a side note, if anyone wants to relive some of the sights and sounds of the gt3 era from 10 years ago, starting right around the 4 hour mark in that video you get over 50 minutes of raw sound of riding onboard different cars (R8, Z4, GTR and 458 iirc) mixed with some trackside shots, was a very nice watch for me
Hi Nico, I will try to post the video soon. And congrats for your laptime, it took me a long time to beat it.
Thanks . When the competition was launched i immediately thought it was one you were gonna comfortably win but after you didnt set a lap time for some time and i got in a lap that was well ahead of the likes of dixon and ribeiro i started thinking i might actually win that one. But ultimately you did come around and it wasnt particularly close afterall
I try using WTCC 2013 in Nürburgring Nordschleife this time. (RaceRoom Racing Experience Ver.0.9.6.60) BMW E90 320 TC (Jump to 11:11 for a wider FOV and multi-angle cutscenes)
Thank you With supersampling, ReShade and RTX-HDR, “RaceRoom 2025” now looks really great. I hope the developers continue to work on the graphics. And I recommend all nvidia users who have an HDR monitor to force RTX-HDR in the nvidia-app. This significantly enhances the graphics in RaceRoom once again.
Looks like a lot less sliding than what i was doing. Guess even in a car like this smooth is fast but i enjoyed my driving style more
I had not much choice if I wanted to stay on the track! But you are right, smooth is fast with this car even if it's not really my natural driving style. It was even worse at Bathurst!
Can only imagine what this car is like around bathurst . Maybe ill have a look if i can find my fastest lap from the competition and if its visually a lot different ill upload it for comparison
Yes, it would be interesting for sure. It's something like that at Bathurst with this car, with fresh eggs glued to the throttle and brake pedals to try to survive until the finish line!
My turn 1 was nicer than yours Other than that your lap is definitely smoother. But if the car almost begs to slide then who am i to tell it not to
Very nice lap Nico, and your T1 apex was way better than mine (I think I braked too late and I couldn't keep it on the line). My car also wanted to slide but I told her to be reasonable, I have some kind of natural authority in these situations!
Such a beautiful car. The track realistically is a little too tight and narrow for my liking but nostalgia makes up for it
Nice lap Nico. This track is really fun whatever the car. I was there in april 2009 for the "Coupes de Paques" event (french GT championship), under pouring rain! There were GT3 cars (the series were still new at that time) but also GT1 cars (Corvette C6.R, Saleen S7R, a Ferrari 550 Maranello driven by Sébastien Loeb). Those big cars on such a tiny track under heavy rain are still in my memory...
Well thats a rather nice mix of cars for what sounds like a national series. Im sure your ears also appreciated the experience
