2025Q3 vs 2024Q4 Graphics This is a side-by-side graphics comparison between the newly released Ver.0.9.7.09 (2025Q3) and Ver.0.9.6.60 (2024Q4). The 2025Q3 version has Physically Based Rendering which provides a better light rendering to enhance the overall visual quality, as claimed by KW Studios. On my PC, RaceRoom replay frame rate drops from 60fps to about 45fps after updating to 2025Q3 version, although I observe no apparent impact on the smoothness of the replay. For race, I launch the game with DXVK option to get a stable 60fps; otherwise, I have to reduce the resolution from 4K to 2K. 00:24 - Cockpit view, new & old left side 09:48 - Cockpit view, new & old right side 19:10 - Cockpit view, new left side & old right side 28:32 - The graphics setup p.s.: i5-13400, 32GB memory, RTX4060, 4K Replay

Just saw the thumbnail and for a very short time I wondered whether this is RaceRoom or a real life photo. Big shoutout to the graphics department once again!
Yes. I think the team worked very hard to strike a good balance on graphics and CPU/GPU utilization. Nowadays, some developers assume players having mid-range to top-tier GPU. Yes, their games are beautiful but, as some people query, whether these games logics are optimized enough to cater for budget players. The team demonstrates the value of such optimization. Such optimization is underlying work and is usually not an eye-catching task in development timeline. But, I believe many many players welcome (or even need) this.
