Don't see anything wrong with inviting and retaining fast drivers that way. After all only P1 gets a reward and others are part of, as you call it, a lottery. But as they say, you never look a gift horse in the mouth. :)

I have been on RRE for 2 days for 4 hours. That's why wonder why I'm getting a massive update.

There was no update, it must be your Steam client acting up:

Oh And i just read some more posts.
Well what i can say and dont understand is why today's people can buy a Premium Pack for about 100 USD in a sale and do have more content than yesterday's people who bought the same Pack, same price, just a few years earlier. Those "earlier buyers" then need to put in some decent extra money to get the track and cars that These "late buyers" already have in their library. Pls dont get me wrong, i Support the game for sure, but i think a lot of people Feeling a little screwed by it

For an example, when you buy a new car in real life, do you get a new one (with all new fancy features) when the new one comes out? I thought so ...

IMO that is just the price you pay for having something earlier than others. You could also wait, but you wanted that and you wanted it earlier so you could enjoy it for longer. There are tons of other examples, not sure how you can feel a little screwed by that. But that is just my opinion. Respect yours as well, just don't understand it. :)

Well i really dont think tthat u can look at it that way u described. it is not a real Car though and hmm, i dont mean it in that way that i choose to have anything earlier, no. i bought for a package that was available at that time, dont get me wrong, i dont wanted to have anything earlier than others. no early acess or anything like that. And, at that time no one was sure about it that much content would follow .- if so, for sure many would have waited in fact to get everything as described in the package info. You are right, there are many other games that go the same way, or as a "Early Acess / Founder" Option, on the other hand there are as well many that go a different way where you buy a "All Content" PAckage like a "get every content after your Date of purchase"

And no i will never accept to buy x Dollars at Date y and after that give again x Dollars for just a few content updates, so way should i pay x² for this? and after that the same way again. no. There are many "user friendly" solutions that are around out there. One way would be to give the content for free or to give a big % off the normal price or at least give that guys some ingame currency (vRP). I bought all three Packages, and for sure spent some extra money for some content again.... but am I happy with this - not really. And i am sure that i am not the only one to go with that opinion.
it is not customer orientated, user friendly nowadays. thats my opinion.

That is a very nice idea. Everyone who has bought the Premium Pack in the past will get 25% off of new releases.

I agree with you to some extent, the Premium Pack now has a better value for money than when I bought it in 2020. However, apart from the discount idea, I don't know how to make it differently.
Stating 'Buy the Premium Pack and you will get all the future content for free' could lead to many people buying it and for sure would be a very nice deal in the first place, but after some time, RaceRoom's revenues would decrease to a point where salaries can't be paid anymore. A product that is continuously worked on needs continuous income.

You could argue that you get new possibilities with every update for free. From the 24th on, everyone owning one GT3 car will be able to do WEC and IMSA races with a grid full of GT3 and Hypercars on every track they own, without spending anything. Just imagine what infinite amount of work it is to set up AI for the 175 track layouts...

A final thought, which is not a reason to stop trying to find better solutions: It could be worse. iRenting takes your money every month completely independent if you even raced. DLC packages of LMU and AMS2 (which are, to be fair, overall a bit less expensive than RaceRoom's content) force you to buy multiple objects even if you only want one of them.

If there wasn't a summer sale and sometimes a Black Friday sale and old content wouldn't be updated at all, I'd probably talk differently about this topic though.

yeah absolutely. and i am honestly full with you... i bought the premium 2017 - and well,... there is much content to pay in a extra way. i hope u know what i mean. I am not absolutely against this way, no no... but yeah it gives me a bad feeling in my stomach to see all this content and also see how much extra money i spent since then and not be able to drive on some tracks due to the lack of content on my system ;)

That was the point of the summer pack, it allowed you to get pretty much everyhing released in the last year cheaper than buying it separately.

If you are missing more than 2 years´ cointent then it may have worked out cheaper to have made a new account and bought the Premium pack again when it was on sale and use the vrp code for new accounts.

And it was a good idea.
I'm a statistics fanatic. So deleting my account was no option. :D But yes, I thought about that as well.

On my account the previously bought Premium pack (in 21') also blocks the ability to buy a (never bought) Pro Pack later, unlike other content packs -- at least that could be revised.

I can only hope that (individual+periodic) Online packs so as larger "recent content" Summer packs are something to stay. Finally, they got me to buy a decent amount of content I missed, and some I didn't even plan to.

No info about that. And it wouldn't be smart as well. People already grinded their numbers, resetting them all of a sudden would drive away quite a few players.

If you delete your Raceroom account and start the game again, it will create a new Raceroom account for the same Steam account.

Hello, I might have found a bug at Alemannenring, at least in VR: the white lines in the middle of the track on the start-finish straight seem to intersect with the ground in a weird way.

If this is just because the white lines were painted over for the race weekends, I will shut up and look ahead again. :D
