Raceroom - Cut time penalties

I am going to have a party there a lot of the guest never have played a sim before. We are going to drive three laps and then just take the fastest time. The problem is that if you cut the track there is no lap time.

I want to remove this so everyone can still have a time even if there are on the grass.

Is that possibe?

 

No, that is not possible. You can turn off penalties, but the laptimes will still not count.

I wonder now what i can do, must i chose another game mayby.

Any suggestion that are like Raceroom there the laptimes will be visable

 

If you just want to know the lap times in a practice session, you can simply check the times in the setup screen after returning to the pits.

You asked the same an Steam and got the same answer and even more.

1) After you get back to pits, you can find your laptimes on the car setup page (need to switch any tabs for that info to appear though).


2) In a single player race, while driving, open the menu and click the circle across your name in the driver list.

 

Thats true, i have already asked this and that is because different people know different things.
And to often people just guessing without knowing, that is also why i must ask many people

At the moment it is not possible, sorry.
Current way of counting the laptimes requires to stay on track to have a valid laptime.

That only shows valid laptimes.

 

Reading this thread, reminds me why I don't like the fact we have Steam, Discord and this forum (and perhaps reddit). It spreads all the knowledge around, which is bad.

I now finally understand what you are meaning here.

I see now all the laptimes regardless if you are driving on the grass or not, this will be good enough on the party

 

no , it doesnt register lap times if you go off track it
because it stops the laptime at the point of the off track so no more data is saved

Nope, it shows all your laptimes. This is speficially in a single player race, not any other mode.

 

what i saw yesterday, this feature only work when you do practice and not in single event

 

It works:

Not after the race. In practice and quali invalid laps won't be shown but in race they will.

 

oh wow, since when is that?

 

there is potentil bug here , not the showing , the invalid laps but they are missing an asterix
