Try the free version before donating to ensure RRO works on your system. As a “thank you” for your support you get access to RRO Pro. Click below to see how. Spoiler: How to join RRO Discord You need a Ko-fi account using the same e-mail as your Discord account. Link your Discord profile with your Ko-fi profile. Make sure you are logged into that Discord account. After becoming a member, click ‘Connect to Discord & Claim’ and you’ll be invited to Racing Overlay’s Discord server where RRO Pro can be downloaded. Pro Widgets: Pedal Input Graph (5, 10 or 20 second interval) Fuel Calculator Lap Time Log Penalty mini widget Custom Logo Widget (see user guide on how to use this) Pro Info: Standings Widget: Multiclass Standings, Strength of Field, Virtual Energy per driver Relative Widget: Ranked rating and reputation of nearby drivers Speed Widget: Average Speed Tyre Info Widget: Wheel lock and spin User your own steering wheel texture (see user guide on how to use this) Quick Start Download RRO_0.9.4_setup.7z and unpack it using 7zip Install RRO (In Steam, remove webhud launch arg) Start RRO from its desktop shortcut Launch Raceroom (Set in-game HUD to “none”) Once you’re on track, press Ctrl+Shift+M to enter edit mode Notes App start issues: Try running in admin mode Try running after game launch Disable other addons and overlays Misaligned/overlapping widgets: in edit mode, hold right-mouse and resize the widget slightly, then it will snap to the grid again Afterburner/RTSS: RRO and RTSS work in conjunction if you run the game in DXVK mode. If you run in DX9 mode, you have to start RRO and the game first. Once the game is running and RRO it has been added, you can start RTSS. If you want to report bugs, please provide some feedback including your PC hardware specs, other software running and what exactly broke. Thanks. RRO does not work in VR. I’m planning a VR-native port of this HUD. If you’d like to support that development, consider donating to the project. The standings tower might "drift" if you try to resize it. Hitting the reset hotkey will fix this. Changelogs: 0.9.1 0.9.2 (Pro) 0.9.3 (Pro) 0.9.3 (Free) 0.9.4 (Free) 0.9.5 (Pro) 0.9.6 (Pro)
Initial feedbak on a single 21:9 2560 x 1080 29" screen Ryzen5 5600X GTX1660super Easy app. 100% custom option... Near to be excessive! XD but you cannot say you can not create a hud 100% at your choice. Just a couple of issues: - No way to resize TV tower (standings) is very annoying on this size of screen. I would honestly go for bigger size and 15 cars seen with P1,P2 and P3 being "fixed" all time. - Relative is only shown in race not in practice, quite annoying on practice or qualy sessions. - Relative just shows just standings distance... Cars that are going to be or are overlapped are not identified, is important to know if car in front or coming from back is 1 lap behind/ahead. Idea: name in "blue" you are going to be overlapped, name in "red" car in front is overlapped. Adding position could help to know if car is going to be overlapped or is fighting for position. - Time widget (up right) needs some "air" between parameter and time Qualifying and time shown gets to close and widget is wider so a couple of pixels there shouldn't be a problem. During Race sessions that has not been an issue, but on leaderboard it has. - Info (rating/reputation) would be helpful at least on relative - Some actions like predefined words on streamdeck can interfere as any "M" (chat included) causing a bit weird situations with the config itself. Idea: Swapping edit mode from M to Ctrl + Alt + M (or Alt+M) would solve that and becomes so familiar as any change goes by Ctrl + Alt + ...) Still find some info by default hud useful, Bbias just based on the rear is quite "PRO" tbf. I still keep notes, red light and map from game side.

@CG does the fuel calculator uses the average fuel per lap to suggests the optimal amount of fuel needed to complete the race?
Relative Widget: Ranked rating and reputation of nearby drivers This is the best feature. Knowing how dangerous your next pass will be is racing gold . Could you make this feature (Ranked rating and reputation) work with facial scanning woman in bars using a smartphone? You would make a fortune.
Yes, it's tracking averages in order to produce those projections for fuel and VE. It also adds an extra lap's worth for safety.
Next project would be porting this one to VR, so maybe after that. ^^ It's kinda difficult to highlight all the small details without writing walls of text. I think my favourite thing is seeing tyre dirt in the tyre temps widget, especially when you pick it up from dirt that has been kicked onto track by some other cars.
is it possible to make all these white bars like the one with sector times, damage or rpm black with white text like all other ones?
It would be possible, of course. I decided to make them white in order to break things up a bit, visually. To give these widgets a unique appearance so you can spot them straight away, even when theyre bunched up with others. Regarding damage, I'm not sure if it would be clear that a full black bar means 100% health... What colour would indicate damage then? Black turning to white to indicate damage feels kinda unintuitive.
Thanks to Martin Petermann for pointing out that VE bars without the actual values might not give you all the details you need. Fixed that.
cool but this white colour is incredibly distracting imo, eye catch it too much is there any way to edit files on my own to make it like grey at least or something
Nope. I'd need to come up with a solution that works for different background colours. Black bars on black background aren't a good solution. ^^
In the meantime, here's another video of my terrible driving, barely masked by the newly added input graph, VE bars and VE percent values. It also shows the fuel calculator workings a bit more, and the tire spin/lock widget in action.
Updated free version to 0.9.2 @uriloki This contains some improvements for scaling in non-16:9 resolutions. Give it a try when you get a chance and let me know if it improved things for you. Note that a widget reset might be required to update it (although it should work without). So if there's no difference at all, try enabling edit mode, the press ctrl+shift+X.
