@CG I have problem i was wondering if you can help me with. I downloaded your program RRO 0.9.2 and installed it and everything worked fine got the overlays setup like i wanted them. Then i noticed there was an update to RRO 0.9.3 so i installed that one and then uninstalled it because i didn't like it opening steam and RR automatically. I then went back and reinstalled RRO 0.9.2 but now i can't see the mouse cursor when in edit mode.
You should always use the latest version. Especially with 0.9.3 as it includes some important improvements. The app should now create three shortcuts when you start it up. The one that simply says "RRO" will start only the overlay launcher, nothing else. So if you don't want to launch the game automatically, use that. Cursor visibility is managed by the game's own edit mode, which is assigned to the M-key by default and should be left assigned there. That way the overlay's edit mode and the game's edit mode will activate together when you press ctrl+shift+M.
Okay i installed the latest version and it seems to be working ok. One question would it be possible to add an overlay for mandatory pit stops that show up when the pit window opens and stays open with some kind of count down until the pit window closes. The overlay in game opens but then closes and doesn't reopen until it tells how much time is left before the pit window closes, this has almost caused me a few times to miss my pit stop in time.
That widget exists, in the Pro version. You can see it at the bottom of the mirror in this video: Pro also contains an input graph, class standings, ranked data per driver and some other added features.
Check your in-game button assignments and assign the function for hud edit mode to the M key. See also: https://forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/racing-overlay-0-9-3.20874/page-2#post-259026
Actually, I had already moved that widget to the free version. It's this one: The details of what it shows when are inside the user guide.
0.9.4 Free Changelog Added number of off-track events to incident widget Cleaned up layouts, removed unnecessary/debug fluff Improved performance even further Download-Link
The userguide pdf is inside the install directory, documents/my games/RRO It should be totally fine to start the overlay before launching the game. but both ways work on my end, before and after, so whatever suits you should be ok.
Small request if possible. With the overlay for mandatory pit stops and also shows the pit lane speed limit. Would it be possible to have that overlay turn on when we request a pit stop instead of when we turn on the pit limiter, that way we know what the pit speed limit is before we enter pit road?
Pro version has been updated. 0.9.5 Pro Changelog Enabled RRO in replay mode Some widgets won’t work correctly due to missing data. I suggest to create a layout for replays and disable the widgets that don’t work. Added reset function for individual widgets Hold X then left-click the widget you want to reset Pit window widget shows pit limit on pit request Fixed pit open message firing repeatedly Further performance optimisations Pro version is available via Ko-fi:
Is this update part of the free version or pro version only "Pit window widget shows pit limit on pit request"
