The Balance of Performance for the event: Has been applied to the ranked 20:00 feature (60 mins) race and the (unranked) practice server
What do the columns mean for the BoP? I guess the first one is engine power? Is the second one something like rear wing setting?
For future events would it be possible to publish the bop earlier, say at least a week or so before the race? Im not driving but if i were id be back to square one 2 days out from the race after having prepared for a couple weeks which is far from ideal
I don't think anyone from the team prefer it the way it is - but with limited staff and many other things to do (those visible and those going on in the background) it is what it is sometimes. In the past I would say the same, but now I'm happy if we get a BoP (as it takes so much time to do it properly) and events like this one in the first place. So yes, doubt anyone is doing it on purpose.
I do understand that it can be frustrating, but I do also believe that there are so many people working ass off so we can have a as good experience as possible.
Hi, I registered for the GT3 class, but now I would like to re-register for the DPI. Is it possible? If yes How should I proceed? Thanks
Yeah just wanted to bring it up in case there are realistic ways to improve this in the future. Overall im also happy there is a special bop, otherwise this race would probably just be a porsche cup (although then again it might still be if thats what everyone has prepared for by now) but knowing what youre working with before doing the work would be helpful. But in my case its all hypothetical, im not driving and if i were itd most likely be in the mazda so no bop to worry about anyways
With a calendar for the 2025 events, it might be a bit easier to plan in advance, we will see. Fingers crossed.
So I signed up for the America time race but now I see that the top split will be only on the European races can some one confirm converted time to Montreal time so I can fill out the form for European races also Tanks
Montreal is GMT -5 and Central Europe is GMT +1. Therefore 6 hours difference. That means practice will start at 12:00, qualyfing 14:00 and race at 14:30 Montreal's local time. But keep in mind that the last year's rank (rating*reputation/100) cut off was at 1772. This year's should be higher than that. So if your rank is, let's say anything below 1850, changes you are going to make it to the top split are small anyway.
Every region has it's own top split. The only difference is that the EU top split will be broadcasted live on the channels. Keep an eye on your ping, the EU top split server has a lower ping limit to prevent lags
Theres no telling how many you will have But the limit is 70 (unless youre on the broadcast server in which case its 50)
Will I get some sort of confirmation for my registration before the Grid Mail? Registered yesterday and I am not sure if it was successful.
Timetable for the race day: Timezone per region: America: EDT Europe: CET Oceania: AEDT 12:00 - Confirmation closes for this region 17:30 - Grid mails have been sent with server information 18:00 - Server is online with practice 20:00 - Qualification starts 20:30 - Race start
